So I finally pulled the trigger on a 2024 Ram 1500 last week and man I love this truck but the bed is wide open right now and I'm stressed about my tools getting swiped. I live in the Pacific Northwest so it rains basically every single day and I need something that actually stays dry inside. I spent like three hours on YouTube looking at the BakFlip MX4 because everyone says it is the gold standard but then I saw a bunch of forum posts saying the seals fail after a year and it leaks like a sieve near the tailgate. Then I looked at the DiamondBack covers which look bulletproof but they are way out of my budget and look like a total pain to take off if I need to haul something tall like my dirt bike.

My budget is capped at about $1200 because I already spent too much on the down payment and I really need to get this sorted before we move out to Idaho in three weeks. I want something that looks low profile but wont fall apart if it gets some heavy snow on it this winter. I saw some people talking about the TruXedo Sentry CT too but I'm worried about how the fabric holds up compared to hard panels. Does anyone have the newer 2024 model and found a tri-fold or maybe a hard roll-up that actually keeps the water out and doesnt rattle like crazy on the highway?

What are the best things to buy to keep the inside of my new Dodge Hornet from getting ruined? Sorry if this is a super basic question but this is actually the first brand new car I have ever owned and I am kind of panicking about keeping it clean. I just picked it up yesterday and it has those pretty seats with the red accents and I just know I am gonna spill coffee or something. I live up in the Pacific Northwest so its constantly raining and muddy and I have a big golden retriever who goes everywhere with me so the hair is already starting to pile up on the carpet. I looked online for floor mats but there are so many options like weathertech and husky and some random ones on amazon and I have no idea if they actually fit right or if they are worth the money. Also do people actually use those seat covers? I dont want to hide the cool seats but I also dont want them covered in mud and dog hair after one week. My budget is probably around 350 dollars for now because the car payment was a lot more than I expected lol. Should I be looking at sprays too or just physical covers? I'm just really lost with all the options out there...

Just picked up a 2024 Ram 1500 last week and I'm honestly paralyzed by all the bed accessory options out there. I really want to protect the bed before it gets all scratched up but I also need it to be functional for my family's camping trip to the Smokies in three weeks. My budget is capped at about 1,500 bucks for everything right now which isnt huge when you see some of these prices.

I'm stuck between getting a BAKFlip MX4 which I know is expensive but looks super sleek and secure or just going with a cheaper Tonno Pro Lo Roll soft cover so I have more money left over for other stuff. If I go with the BAKFlip it eats like $1,100 of my budget right away and leaves me almost nothing for a good liner.

Then there's the liner situation itself. I'm looking at either doing a professional Line-X spray-in or just throwing in a BedRug. The BedRug seems nicer for crawling around on when we're setting up camp but I'm worried itll get gross if I ever haul mulch or gravel which I do a few times a year for the yard.

Should I blow most of the cash on the hard cover and just get a cheap plastic drop-in liner for now or is the BedRug plus a soft cover combo a better move for a guy who does a mix of light work and family travel? Not sure what holds up better long term...

I live down in South Florida so the sun is absolutely brutal on the dash and seats so I was looking at those fitted sunshades but there are so many brands and half of them look cheap like theyll just fold up in two weeks. I did some digging and saw everyone talking about the Mopar all-weather mats but then I saw a few guys on a different thread saying they dont cover enough of the dead pedal area which seems like a weird design flaw? Then I saw these carbon fiber trim kits on Amazon but I dont want it to look tacky or like I'm trying too hard to be a Hellcat when I'm not lol. My budget is probably around 400 bucks for the first round of stuff and I want things that are actually functional not just for show. I do a lot of driving for work so I need some better storage or something for the center console because its basically just a big black hole right now. Has anyone found any specific brands for seat covers or organizers that actually fit tight and dont rattle around when you're hitting it hard on the highway?

Ive been driving Rams for like fifteen years now and I thought I had my setup dialed in perfectly on my 2022 1500 Big Horn but life just threw me a curveball. I usually just do light hauling for the farm but I just landed this sub-contracting gig for a fence installation project starting next Monday and suddenly my current bed setup is a total joke for what I actually need to carry. I went to load up some 10-foot posts and some heavy-duty spools of wire yesterday and realized I have zero efficient way to organize the exterior for quick access without climbing in and out of the bed fifty times a day which my knees are already complaining about.

I already have a basic spray-in liner and a tri-fold tonneau cover but that cover is actually getting in the way now since I need the vertical space for the racks. I was looking at those swing-out toolboxes but I'm worried they wont clear the wheel wells if I have the bed loaded down with bags of concrete too. Ive done the basic bolt-on stuff before but this needs to be a serious utility overhaul.

I've got about $3,000 to drop on this right now and I need to get it ordered and installed by Friday because I'm heading out to the site in Asheville first thing Monday morning. I am looking for:

a rack system that can handle 500lbs plus

some kind of side-access storage that doesnt eat the whole bed

better lighting for the bed area since Ill be working late

I'm looking for suggestions on the best heavy-duty rack systems that dont require drilling into the rails if possible because I might want to swap back later but I need something that can handle the weight without vibrating like crazy on the highway. Are those Decked systems actually worth the height loss in the bed or should I just stick to a high-quality headache rack and side boxes? Also if anyone knows a brand of side steps that actually survive NC mud and red clay without getting slippery as ice let me know because the stock ones are killing me. What are the absolute best exterior utility mods you guys are running for actual work not just mall crawling?

What are the absolute must-have interior accessories for a new Durango that actually fit right and wont fall apart? Just picked up a 2024 R/T last week here in Chicago and I'm already losing my mind with how quickly the floors are getting trashed with all the slush and salt everywhere. I've been looking online for days and I'm honestly just getting more annoyed the more I read. Everyone keeps saying get WeatherTech liners but then I go on other forums and people say they slip around or dont cover the dead pedal area properly on the newer models and then others say Husky is better but the X-act Contour ones are always out of stock for the three-row setup specifically. I have about $500 set aside for this stuff right now but I dont want to waste it on junk that looks cheap or doesnt stay in place. I've got two kids and a big dog so the back seat is already a total disaster zone with crumbs and hair and I'm desperate to protect the leather before it's ruined. I also looked at those seat gap fillers but some people say they interfere with the power seat controls on the Durango? I just need stuff that actually works for a daily driver that deals with midwest winters... what are you guys actually using that doesnt look like a cheap plastic mess after a month?

I just picked up a 2023 and honestly i'm kind of terrified of messing something up but the stock setup feels like it could use a little more pep. I spent hours reading stuff online and everyone says to get a catch can right away to stop oil vapor from gunking up the intake but then i see other people saying its a total waste of money and Dodge would have installed one if it mattered. Then there is the whole cold air intake debate... i was looking at the Mopar one because it looks cool but some threads say the factory air box is already optimized and aftermarket ones just suck in hot air from the engine bay. I live in South Florida so it is basically a furnace outside 24/7 and i really worry about heat soak at stoplights. My budget is pretty tight right now, maybe 1500 bucks tops to start with since the car payment is already eating my soul lol. Should i focus on the exhaust first or maybe some better tires since the stock 245s feel like they are made of hard plastic? I just want it to feel faster without the dealership flagging my VIN the second i go in for an oil change. What would you guys do first?
