I just got my Range Rover Sport PHEV a few months ago and honestly im so fed up with how standard it looks in the parking lot. Like my logic was that the PHEV would be the smart choice for my commute in London with the ULEZ stuff but man it just looks so plain compared to the SVRs i see everywhere. Im so excited to finally spend some money on it because I've been saving up about 5 grand specifically for exterior mods but im totally stuck on what actually fits the hybrid model without looking tacky or messing with the charging flap.

I was thinking about doing a full de-chrome first because the silver bits are driving me crazy they just look cheap on a car this expensive. My plan was to go all blacked out but then i saw some carbon fiber accents on a custom build and now im questioning everything. Should I go for a SVR-style grille or is that faking it too much? I really want that aggressive stance so I looked into wheel spacers but then someone told me it might mess with the air suspension and now im paranoid. It's so frustrating because every time I think I have a plan, I read a forum post saying dont do that or it wont fit the PHEV front bumper.

I also looked at some side steps but the deployable ones are so expensive and I heard they break all the time when it gets icy. So then i thought maybe just a subtle rear spoiler and some 22-inch gloss black wheels? I just want it to look meaner without losing the classy vibe. It's frustrating because the PHEV has slightly different styling cues than the pure ICE versions and I dont want to buy a kit that doesnt line up right. I have this vision of a stealth look but keeping the Fuji White body color. Has anyone found a specific front splitter that doesn't look like a snow plow but still gives it that low profile look? Im ready to pull the trigger this weekend but i need to be sure before i waste a ton of money on parts that don't fit...

I just got this 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport last week and I am honestly already kind of regretting it because I feel like I am gonna ruin the inside in like five seconds. I have two young kids and a golden retriever and we live near Seattle so everything is just constantly wet and muddy and gross. I looked online for stuff to protect the seats and the floors but there are so many options and I dont even know what half of these words mean. Like people keep saying OEM but is that a brand or something?

The dealership wanted like $500 just for some rubber mats which seems like a total ripoff but maybe I need them? I only have about $300 to spend right now because the car payment was more than I thought it would be with the insurance increase and everything. I am just so frustrated trying to find stuff that actually fits because I bought these universal covers from a shop down the street and they dont fit the headrests at all and just slide around. I am sorry if this is a really basic question but I am just totally lost and I dont want my nice car to smell like wet dog by next month.

What are the absolute top interior accessories I should get first to keep this thing from being destroyed? Like what are the must haves for a beginner who has no idea what they are doing...

Ive been a Land Rover guy for a decade but this new P400 interior feels way more delicate than my old Sport. I just picked it up last week here in Seattle and the muddy hiking gear is already making me nervous. Looking for some solid floor mats that dont look like cheap plastic and maybe a screen protector for the Pivi Pro because the fingerprints are driving me insane already. Ive got about 500 bucks to spend on some quality of life stuff before our road trip next month so let me know what brands actually fit right...

Im torn between just getting the OEM accessory mats from the dealer or going with WeatherTech. The dealer ones are like $250 but they dont seem to have as high of a lip as the WeatherTech FloorLiners. But then the WeatherTechs look a bit too utility for such a nice cabin... also looking at those Canvasback cargo liners since I haul muddy gear every weekend. Budget is around 500 total. Which one actually holds up better against wet boots without looking cheap?

I finally bit the bullet and got the new Defender but man I am stressed about actually taking it off road. I have this big trip planned for the San Juan mountains in Colorado in like three weeks and I feel like I am totally unprepared. I spent way too much time on YouTube and now I am just spiraling because everyone has a different opinion. I was looking at the Lucky8 stuff and the factory expedition rack but then I read on a forum that the factory rack makes a ton of wind noise and might be too tall for my parking garage at work which is a huge deal because I still have to commute in this thing every day.

I really need to figure out what is actually essential versus what is just for show because my budget is capped at about 4000 dollars right now since the monthly payment is already killing me haha. I saw some people saying the first thing should be a winch but then others say a good set of recovery boards and a compressor is enough if youre not doing anything insane. I am mostly gonna be on moderate trails not trying to crawl over boulders the size of a house.

Here is what I am trying to figure out:

Protection: Do I really need the full underbody shielding or is the stock stuff okay for rocky trails?

Tires: Everyone says the stock tires are garbage but I dont want to ruin the gas mileage.

Recovery: Is a winch worth the weight and the install cost or should I just get a kinetic rope and call it a day?

Storage: I need a way to carry extra fuel because I am paranoid about running out in the middle of nowhere.

The more I look at the more I get confused because some people say stay stock and others have like twenty grand in mods. I just want to be safe and not break my car on the first trip out. Does anyone have a "must have" list for someone who is actually going to use the car but still needs to get to the office on Monday? I am really worried about the weight limit too because I dont want to mess up the air suspension by overloading it with gear I dont even need...
