I just picked up my R1S yesterday and I'm honestly terrified of getting the floor dirty. I live in Seattle and it's basically raining every single day right now and I already saw some mud on the carpet which is making me really anxious because this car was so expensive. I dont really know anything about car stuff and looking at floor mats online is just confusing me like there are so many brands. Some people say the ones from Rivian are okay but then others talk about 3D Maxpider or WeatherTech and I have no idea if they actually fit the quad motor version differently? Is there even a difference in the floor shape? I need to get something by next Friday because we are taking the kids to the mountains and it's gonna be a mess. I'm sorry if this is a really basic thing to ask but I'm just worried about buying the wrong thing and it not fitting right or looking cheap. Should I just get the ones from the Rivian shop or is there something better that covers more of the floor? I really want something that stays in place and doesnt slide around because that seems dangerous. My budget is like 300 bucks maybe more if they are really good. I just want the interior to stay nice since we literally just got it and I'm already stressing out about the mud...

So I finally got my R1S Dual-Motor delivered last week and honestly the car is incredible like the speed and the way it handles is just insane I'm so hyped to finally have it in my driveway here in Seattle but man I am already so frustrated with these factory mats they are absolute garbage for real. We took it out for a quick hike over the weekend and just a little bit of mud from my boots and the kids shoes and the carpets are already looking trashed plus the mats dont even stay in place they keep sliding around near the pedals which is actually kinda dangerous if you think about it.

I spent nearly 90k on this beast and I cant believe the interior protection is this flimsy so I need to swap them out like yesterday before my golden retriever ruins the third row too. I've been looking at WeatherTech but I heard they might not fit the new dual-motor floor layout perfectly or something? Or maybe TuxMat? I really want something that covers every single inch of the floor and can handle the PNW rain and mud without looking like a cheap plastic tub. Budget isnt really a huge deal if they actually work but I need them delivered before our road trip next month. What are you guys actually using that fits tight and doesnt look ugly? I'm honestly fed up with how much dirt these hold...

So my R1T Dual-Motor finally got its delivery date for next Tuesday and I am literally vibrating with excitement right now lol. I have been watching every single YouTube video I can find on this thing for months and now that it is actually happening I realized I have nothing ready for the inside. I live up in the Pacific Northwest near Seattle so the rain and mud are basically a personality trait here and I do not want to ruin that nice interior the second I step in with my boots.

I have been doing some digging on floor mats and I am stuck. I saw that Rivian sells their own all-weather mats but then I read on some subreddits that they dont have the best coverage specifically around the dead pedal area where a lot of gunk tends to fall behind the mat? Then there is the 3D Maxpider Kagu ones which people seem to love for the fit but honestly in the pictures they look a bit too much like fake carbon fiber and I am not sure if that clashes with the vegan leather vibe. I also looked at TuxMat but they look almost too fancy? Like I am going to a gala instead of a trailhead and I am worried about how they handle real muck.

Then there is the whole center console situation. That space is huge but it is basically just a giant empty bucket. I saw some plastic inserts on Amazon and then some 3D printed stuff on Etsy but I am worried the 3D printed ones will warp if it ever actually gets hot here or just feel cheap and scratchy. I really want something that makes the space usable for my sunglasses and coins and maybe a spot for my phone since the wireless charger is apparently hit or miss.

I am mainly looking for:

solid floor mats that actually trap water and dirt

a center console tray that doesnt rattle every time I hit a bump

maybe something for that weird open space under the main screen

Budget-wise I am trying to keep the whole interior setup under like 400 or 500 bucks if possible. I am mainly using this for taking the kids to soccer and then hitting the trails on the weekends so it needs to be tough. What are you guys actually using day-to-day that doesnt look like junk after a month? Is there a specific brand for the organizers that fits the Dual-Motor layout perfectly or is it the same as the Quad?

So I finally put my deposit down for the R3X and I'm already planning some weekend trips out near Bend once it ships. I've been digging through some early threads and I'm seeing a lot of back and forth about underbody protection. Some guys say the factory shielding is plenty for light rally stuff but others are swearing by heavy duty skid plates from third parties. I'm worried about the weight though because I have a two hour highway drive just to get to the trails and don't want to kill my range. Also saw some talk about wheel spacers for a wider stance but wouldn't that mess with the suspension tuning?

What kind of performance or utility accessories are you guys actually planning to get once yours arrives?

I put my deposit down the second the reveal happened and now Im totally overthinking the garage setup. I'm moving into a new place in Chicago later this year and I want to get the 240v wiring done before I move my stuff in, but the whole NACS transition is throwing me for a loop. I did some digging and saw that the R2 will have the NACS port natively, so I was looking at the Tesla Universal Wall Connector since it seems future-proof with that built-in adapter. But then I read some threads saying the Rivian Wall Charger is way better for software integration and seeing everything in one app. Is that actually true or just marketing talk? My budget for the charger itself is around $800 and I only drive about 45 miles a day for my commute so I dont need the craziest power output, I just want something that wont break or get outdated in two years. Should I stick with a brand name or is something like a Grizzl-E better if I just want a dumb charger that works? Im just trying to avoid buying something now that I'll regret when the car actually shows up in my driveway...

Honestly im so fed up with the internal Gear Guard on my new R1S Tri-Motor. I literally just took delivery last week here in San Diego and someone already clipped my mirror in a parking lot but the footage is so grainy i cant even make out the plate. It is ridiculous that a car this expensive has such a mid camera system. I need something way better like yesterday because we are supposed to hit the road for a massive trip next Friday and I am not leaving without a solid backup.

So I was thinking about just grabbing a BlackVue DR970X but then my logic was maybe i should go with the Vantrue N4 Pro for the cabin view too? But then I started worrying about the 12V battery drain and if the new Tri-Motor wiring is different from the older Dual or Quad setups. I dont want to void any warranties or mess up the tech on a brand new truck but I also cant deal with the anxiety of these blurry Gear Guard clips anymore. My budget is around 600-700 bucks including the hardwire kit if needed. Does anyone have a specific brand they trust for the 2025 models that wont throw errors on the screen or kill the battery? I really need to get this ordered like tonight so it gets here in time...
