Just picked up my 2022 WRX and Im so hyped! Its my daily for my Denver commute so it needs to stay reliable. I saw online people say get a Cobb Accessport but then others say it voids the warranty which makes me nervous. What are some actual essential performance mods that wont get me in trouble?

What are the absolute must-have off-road mods for an Outback Wilderness that actually improve clearance and protection without totally wrecking the gas mileage? I’ve been running Subies for over a decade and usually just stick with better tires and maybe some skid plates but I took my new 2024 Wilderness out to the San Juan Mountains last weekend and honestly the factory setup felt a bit limited on some of the rockier trails.

I am trying to keep the build under 3k for now since I just bought the car. Should I look into a mild lift even though it has the factory 9.5 inches or just go for better rock sliders first because I almost smashed my rocker panels on a ledge near Silverton. I dont want to go overboard and ruin the ride quality either...

Ugh I just got my new WRX and I'm already stressed out. I've never had a car this nice before and I feel like I'm gonna ruin the inside immediately but I have no clue what I'm doing. The dealer tried to charge me a fortune for basic stuff and I only have like $300 to spend on accessories right now after the big down payment. Everything I look at online has so many options it's just making my head spin and I'm honestly so confused.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but what are the actual must-have interior accessories for someone who knows nothing and just wants to keep the car clean? I just want it to stay nice for my commute...

took my new outback wilderness to some trails near boulder and felt totally out of my league seeing everyone with all this gear. i only have 500 bucks left and i am so confused by all the options.

So I finally got my 2021 WRX a few months back and honestly im just so frustrated with how it drives stock. Like the rev hang is actually killing me and it feels so sluggish in second gear when I'm trying to merge. My logic was that a newer car would feel way more snappy but right now my brothers old GTI feels faster which is just embarrassing lol. I was looking at the Cobb Accessport because everyone says thats the first step but then I started reading all these horror stories about spun rod bearings and the dealership voiding the warranty and now im just stuck in a rabbit hole.

I live in Denver so the altitude definitely isnt helping the turbo lag either. I have about $2,000 saved up and I want to get things moving before the summer hits but I dont know if I should go for an intake and a tune or maybe just start with some suspension stuff like coilovers because the body roll is also kinda annoying. My head is spinning from all the different forums saying different things. Should I risk the tune or are there other mods that actually make a difference without blowing up the engine? I just want the car to feel like it should have felt from the factory...

I just got a 2021 WRX and I need it to feel more alive for my commute through Boston. I have about $1500 and I want to get this done before a road trip in two weeks so its kinda urgent. I read that the Cobb Accessport is the way to go but then I see people saying it voids the warranty or causes knock with the OTS tunes. Im looking at:

So I finally traded in my old 2015 Outback for a 2023 Crosstrek Hybrid and I'm kinda hitting a wall with the gear setup. I've been a Thule guy for like ten years so I figured I'd just swap my old Aeroblades over but the fitment feels totally off. The rails on this hybrid trim seem lower profile than my old car or maybe they're just spaced weirdly? I did some digging and saw some people mentioning that the weight limit on the hybrid roof is actually different because of the battery placement and center of gravity stuff but the manual is being super vague about it.

I'm planning this big camping trip out to the Olympic Peninsula in about three weeks and I need to get my Thule Motion XT box up there along with a couple of kayaks. I'm over here in the PNW so rain and wind are a constant factor and I'm starting to get worried about the dynamic weight capacity especially since the hybrid is already heavier than the base model. My budget is around 700 bucks maybe 800 if I really have to stretch it but I really don't want to buy a whole new system if I can avoid it. Is anyone else running a heavy load on the hybrid specifically? I tried the standard Yakima TimberLine towers but they felt like they weren't gripping the rail tight enough because of that tapered shape Subaru is using now.

Just picked up my 2024 Forester yesterday and Im so hyped to get it out on the trails! I need to protect the inside though cuz my lab mixes get muddy fast. Im torn between getting the WeatherTech FloorLiners or just sticking with the OEM Subaru ones from the dealer. The WeatherTechs look like they cover more of the carpet but theyre kinda pricey. Also for seats - should I go with the cheap Amazon neoprene ones or are the Wet Okole covers actually worth the extra cash? My budget is like $400 tops for now.

I just picked up my 2024 Crosstrek Hybrid last week and honestly im already kind of losing it. The piano black trim is a total nightmare and already has scratches just from me putting my phone down? Like why would they use that material its so fragile. Plus I live out in the PNW so every time I step in after a hike the factory floor mats just dont cut it and mud is getting everywhere on the carpet.

I have about $300 set aside right now to save this interior before I completely ruin it. What are the actually essential accessories to keep this thing from falling apart? What is the best roof rack and cargo setup for a Subaru Ascent that won't whistle like crazy on the highway? I'm stuck between the Thule WingBar and the Yakima JetStream. Some reviews say the Thule sits too low and might scratch the roof if the cargo box clamps are big, but then the Yakima looks super bulky and tall.
