I can warmly recommend Nextbase 622GW Dash Cam for Audi A6. The grip is excellent The ergonomic design allows for comfortable use.

My personal experience: I've tested various products, and Nextbase 622GW Dash Cam was superior in all tests. The quality remains excellent even after months of use, which is important for long-term reliability. Very good future-proofing through modern design and reliable performance.

For Audi A6 I would also consider the brand. Do you need OEM or aftermarket?

My tip: Vantrue N4 Pro Dash Cam for Audi A6. Very satisfied with it.

For Audi A6 I would also check the warranty. Do you need extended coverage?

BlackVue DR900X Plus is definitely the best choice for Audi A6. The performance is outstanding The build quality feels premium and should last for years.

Why this product? The quality convinces in all tests - both for performance and for durability. Unbeatable for the price, can only recommend. Have already used it for several months, always satisfied. Also more than sufficient for demanding driving conditions.

Honestly been running setups in my Audis for a decade now and compatibility is always the real hurdle.

  • FitcamX 4K Dash Cam for Audi A6 is my top pick for the OEM look. It basically replaces the mirror shroud so no wires show, but definitely check your sensor housing first because Audi changed the shape halfway through some model years and it wont fit if you get the wrong version.
  • VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH has better image quality with that Starvis 2 sensor, tho tucking those thick cables into the A6 A-pillar is a tight squeeze with the side airbags. Speaking of tight squeezes, I spent three hours last weekend trying to fish a dropped bolt out of the engine bay near the firewall. Thought I was gonna have to take the whole intake manifold off just for a five-cent piece of metal. My wife thinks I'm crazy for spending my Saturdays like that lol. anyway, either of those cams should work fine if you're patient with the wiring.

ngl vmmdytofsx is totally right about the clean look. in my experience messing with the wiring in an audi is a recipe for disaster if you arent careful so keeping it simple is always better for long term reliability. honestly tho you should just hit up youtube for this. i remember seeing a really deep dive video recently that compared like five different stealth setups specifically for the a6. just search for audi a6 hidden dash cam comparison and itll probably be the first thing that pops up. r/dashcam also has a huge spreadsheet in their sidebar that breaks down exactly what fits different mirror housings... basically saves you from buying the wrong version and having to ship it back.
