BlackVue DR900X Plus is my recommendation for Audi S6. Works great!

For Audi S6, Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 is an excellent choice. The performance is outstanding The latest technology ensures perfect fit and good performance.

Additionally, you should note: The latest generation offers significantly better quality and performance than previous models. Especially ideal for daily driving and long trips. Compatibility with Audi S6 is very good, and the installation is also straightforward.

I can warmly recommend Thinkware U1000 Dash Cam for Audi S6. The material is premium and comfortable The latest technology ensures perfect fit and good performance.

My personal experience: I've tested various products, and Thinkware U1000 Dash Cam was superior in all tests. The quality remains excellent even after months of use, which is important for long-term reliability. Very good future-proofing through modern design and reliable performance.

Honestly, for an S6, you really want something that integrates well with the factory MMI screen if you are not going full aftermarket. I have been running a few different setups over the years and been super satisfied with these specific units:

  • Pioneer ND-BC8 High-Resolution Universal Rear-View Camera is my go-to. The CMOS sensor on this is legit. It handles low light way better than the cheap ones and the 129-degree wide angle is perfect for not getting that fish-eye look while still seeing everything.
  • Sony XA-RVC1 High Definition Rear View Camera is another solid pick. It is super compact and I like it because it is easy to tuck away so it doesnt ruin the look of the trunk lid. Performance is crisp even in rain. Make sure you grab a decent video interface if you are keeping the stock screen, otherwise it is a pain to wire in. These both work well with the dynamic parking lines if your interface supports it. Lmk if you need help with the wiring side of things, it can be a bit tricky on the S6... been there before but the result is totally worth it.

Jumping in here because I agree with okzwjtsuvj that everyone is trying to be helpful, but honestly, some of these suggestions are actually dash cams. Unfortunately, I've had issues with using dash cams as backup monitors before... the lens distortion makes them not as good as expected for actually judging distance when you're reversing. If you want something that actually works for parking, I would look at these:

  • Go with any Alpine Rear View Camera, you basically cant go wrong with their sensor quality.
  • Just get a dedicated Kenwood Backup Camera unit.
  • Look into an OEM style retrofit kit that swaps out your trunk handle. Stick to the dedicated brands and you'll be much happier with the low-light visibility. I'm happy to help if you run into any weird wiring snags while you're pulling the trunk trim tho!
