Picked up my new RRS in London and the upholstery feels way more delicate than my old 2018. My logic was to grab OEM rubber mats but they look kinda cheap for the price?
Need to keep things mint before my dog ruins it next weekend. Any better aftermarket seat covers or cargo liners...
^ This. Also, if you wanna save a few bucks after the big purchase, I'm super satisfied with the Amazon Basics Waterproof Pet Hammock. It sounds basic but honestly works well and keeps the dogs mud off the leather. No complaints. Grab a Spigen Glas.tR Slim Screen Protector for Range Rover Sport too. It's cheap insurance for the tech... keeps it looking brand new.
> My logic was to grab OEM rubber mats but they look kinda cheap for the price? Honestly, I felt the same when I got my P400. The OEM set felt way too thin for the price. Swapped them for WeatherTech FloorLiner Laser Measured and the fit is decent for mud. For the dog, CanvasBack Cargo Liner Full Set works well. It saved my upholstery during a messy trip to the Highlands last winter. Definitely more durable than the factory stuff tho.
Yo, saw this earlier but just getting to it now. Honestly, I went through the same headache when I saw the price on the OEM mats. For the cash Land Rover wants, I expected high-density polymer, not that thin rubber. I ended up getting the TuxMat Custom Fit Floor Mats for Range Rover Sport and honestly, I'm super satisfied. The laser-measured coverage is way better than the WeatherTechs my brother has... they go way higher up the sidewalls which is key for keeping mud off the actual carpet. Plus they look way more premium for less money. Since you're worried about the delicate upholstery, I've had no complaints with 303 Aerospace Protectant 32oz. It’s technically a marine-grade spray but the UV blockers are top tier for keeping the dash from fading. It’s way cheaper than those boutique interior cleaners but the chemical specs are basically identical for protection. For the dog situation, I actually found a killer deal on a Husky Liners Weatherbeater Cargo Liner instead of the CanvasBack. It’s a bit more rigid, but it works well and saved me about 60 bucks. My lab hasn't managed to scratch it yet lol.
Building on the earlier suggestion, I'd actually be really careful with those generic seat covers! I've seen them ruin delicate leather by rubbing the finish right off over time. It's a total nightmare!
Came here to say the same thing lol. Great minds think alike I guess.
