Should I go with the WeatherTech floor liners or the Husky X-act Contours for my new Silverado? I'm picking the truck up next week here in snowy Colorado and need to stay under a $250 budget for the floors. The Husky ones seem softer but everyone says WeatherTech is the standard... which ones actually fit the 2024 cab better?

Ive spent way too much time testing liners in my trucks, especially since the 2024 Silverado floor layout changed slightly. Last winter up in the Rockies, I had those hard plastic liners and my boots kept sliding around whenever they got wet... it was actually kinda dangerous. If you want the best fit for that $250 budget, I would suggest going with the Husky ones because the material is way more forgiving.

> need to stay under a $250 budget ^ This. Also, check Rough Country All-Weather Floor Mats. I'm satisfied with mine; they're reliable, grippy, and definitely leave cash in your pocket. Let me know if you need more tips tho...

I'm gonna have to go against the grain here. I actually prefer the SMARTLINER Custom Fit Floor Mats for 2024 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab over the Husky ones. The 3D scanning they use is crazy accurate and the coverage is insane for the price! They keep all that Colorado slush off the carpet perfectly. Since they're way under budget, you can also grab a Vehicle OCD Center Console Organizer for Chevy Silverado too!! Pure value there!

Building on the earlier suggestion, I'm satisfied that grip and fit are the main things to watch. Honestly, just go with what feels safest for the winter.

  • stick to your budget
  • focus on reliability Last time I was at the dealership getting a sensor fixed, this guy was trying to trade in a truck he had used for hauling wet hay. The smell was honestly something else... I almost felt bad for the salesperson. Anyway lol.
