Hey everyone! I just finally pulled the trigger on a brand new 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, and I couldn't be happier with it. It is a massive upgrade from my old sedan, and I am still getting used to having so much space. However, I want to make sure I keep this thing looking pristine for as long as possible. Since I plan on using this truck for everything from daily commuting to weekend camping trips with the family and our golden retriever, I know the interior is going to take a beating if I don't get the right gear in there early on.

I have been looking around online and there are just so many options that it is getting a bit overwhelming. I really want to focus on accessories that are actually functional and high-quality rather than just cheap plastic junk. I have a few specific areas I am worried about:

  • Floor protection is my number one priority. I have seen a lot of talk about WeatherTech versus Husky Liners, but I am curious if there is a specific model that fits the Silverado's floor geometry better, especially in the back seat where the dog hangs out.
  • The center console is absolutely cavernous. It is great for storage, but right now it is just a giant pile of cables, sunglasses, and receipts. I really need a solid organizer tray or some kind of divider system to keep it from becoming a black hole.
  • I am also a bit nervous about that beautiful big infotainment screen. It is already covered in fingerprints after just a few days. Does anyone use a tempered glass screen protector, or does that mess with the touch sensitivity or glare?

I really want to hear from fellow Silverado owners about what you have actually installed in your trucks. Are there any must-have items I am missing, like specific seat covers or even small things like door pocket inserts? I want to get this right the first time. What are the best interior accessories you have found for the new Silverado that actually make a difference in your daily drive?

Saw this thread earlier and wanted to jump in since you mentioned the dog. To keep your seats from getting shredded or covered in hair, i really recommend looking into Rough Country Neoprene Seat Covers Front and Rear. They are super durable for the price and provide a lot of protection, plus they are way easier to wipe down than the factory upholstery. For the console, i found that the Vehicle OCD Center Console Organizer Tray for Chevy Silverado is a perfect fit and feels a bit more solid than some generic brands. It keeps your registration and essentials right at the top so you arent digging around while driving. Those two things are probably the most practical, cost-effective upgrades you can do right away to keep the truck looking new.

Agreed on those Husky liners, but check out WeatherTech FloorLiner HP for Silverado 1500 for a softer feel. Also, Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector 13.4 inch is essential for that screen.

Wow ok that changes things. Gonna have to rethink my approach now.

Honestly, Husky Liners WeatherBeater Floor Mats Black are much cheaper than other brands but just as reliable. Grab a Muslogy Center Console Organizer Tray too, itll keep your stuff organized for cheap...
