So I finally pulled the trigger and got a 2024 Silverado and I am honestly so pumped but also kind of terrified of getting the inside dirty already. I live out in rainy Oregon and it is basically a mud pit half the year so I know I need some serious floor mats. I have no idea where to start though so sorry if this is a dumb question but what am I even looking for?
My logic was that I should just find something made of heavy rubber but then I saw these ads for laser measured liners and I dont really get what that means. Do they actually use lasers on the truck? I keep seeing brands like WeatherTech and Husky popping up but they look exactly the same in the pictures so I have no clue why one costs more than the other.
I have about $200 set aside for this and I really need them by next Friday because I am taking my golden retriever to the lake and he is gonna track so much muck into the cab. A few things I am worried about:
I just want something that wont crack when it gets cold and actually fits the floor perfectly. I am so scared of buying the wrong size and having them not fit right. Any ideas for a total beginner?...
Agree on Husky, tho unfortunately I had issues with generic mats sliding and almost wrecking my truck...
In my experience, Husky Liners X-act Contour Floor Mats for 2024 Silverado are honestly the best. They wont slide around. They're way softer than those stiff plastic ones too.
