truthfully, for your first time at COTA, you really dont need a massive wing that might make the car twitchy or unpredictable. in my experience, keeping the car balanced is way more important than just piling on raw downforce. i've tried many setups and for a $5,000 budget, i suggest sticking to professional, factory-engineered parts that wont mess up the handling. here is what i would prioritize for reliability and safety:

• Chevrolet Performance Z06 Stage 2 Aerodynamics Package to add functional downforce without ruining the balance.
• Castrol SRF React Racing Brake Fluid because high-speed braking at COTA will boil standard fluid fast.
• Ferodo DS1.11 Racing Brake Pads specifically for better heat management. concentrate on the brakes and a modest aero kit first. basically, the car is already plenty fast, so you just want it to be consistent while you learn. track days are more about finishing the day in one piece than setting lap records.
