Switched to Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 a few months ago and am thrilled. The price-performance ratio is great The premium build provides excellent durability and protection.
Coming back to this after looking at the suggestions... I gotta say, be really careful with some of these recommendations. A lot of people are mentioning dash cams, but for an actual integrated backup camera on the SQ5, compatibility is a massive headache. If you dont get something thats specifically designed for the Audi MMI interface, youre looking at a world of pain with the CAN bus. Ive seen so many guys try to save a few bucks with universal kits and end up with flickering screens or, worse, electrical interference that messes with the parking sensors. Honestly, if the kit requires you to splice into the main harness without a proper bridge, just walk away. Its not worth risking the module for a slightly cheaper view. Just my two cents from a technical standpoint... make sure its plug and play with the factory optical system or youll regret it.
