To add to the point above: I think you are spot on about the rear mat shape... honestly its ridiculous that we even have to guess if something fits a Sportback versus the standard Q3. In my experience, manufacturers have just stopped caring about the details while hiking the prices up every single year. Tbh, it feels like such a scam when you pay hundreds for a set of mats that should cost fifty bucks tops.

• Prices are basically a luxury tax at this point.
• Material quality is definitely going downhill compared to what I bought five years ago.
• Companies cant even be bothered to update their compatibility charts properly. I've tried so many different brands over the years and the frustration is always the same... you spend a fortune and still end up with gaps or thin material. Its just exhausting trying to find something decent without getting ripped off. Driving a nice car shouldnt mean getting fleeced for every little accessory.

I totally agree with the consensus here that going for a durable, high-quality set is the smartest move for an Audi. You really want that protection for the carpet. I am not 100 percent sure about this, but I think I heard a few guys in another group saying the rear mats for the Sportback might be a slightly different shape than the standard Q3? Not sure but it might be worth verifying if the floor pan is identical before hitting buy. Also, I think some of the harder plastic options can sometimes feel a bit slick when your shoes are wet, right? Tbh, I am still learning about the different material blends myself. Maybe look for something with a bit more of a rubberized texture if you live somewhere with a lot of rain or snow. Basically, you just want something that wont shift around while you are driving. Most of the community reviews seem to point in the same direction though, so you probably cant go wrong with what has been suggested.
