I finally took delivery of my Audi e-tron GT last week, and I’m absolutely loving the drive! However, I’m still relying on the basic mobile connector, and it's definitely time for a permanent Level 2 setup. I’m looking for a charger that can ideally match the GT's 11kW charging capability to ensure quick overnight top-ups. I’ve been researching the ChargePoint Home Flex and the Wallbox Pulsar Plus, but I’m curious about how well they actually integrate with the Audi app's scheduling. Since the charger will be mounted in a visible spot, I’d also prefer something sleek that matches the car's premium vibe. For those already living with the GT, which home station have you found most reliable for daily use?

Seconding the recommendation above for ChargePoint! I've been tracking these brands for years and it's definitely a top-tier choice for the e-tron GT.

1. Market reliability: ChargePoint and Wallbox are basically the market leaders right now.
2. Integration: Iirc, the Audi app can be a bit finicky with external schedules, so hardwiring for that full 11kW (48A) is key.
3. Aesthetics: Ngl, the Pulsar is super tiny and sleek if you're worried about the look.

Just make sure ur electrician uses a 60-amp breaker for that 11kW speed. Honestly, you'll love the setup!! 👍

I would suggest ChargePoint!

* Very reliable
* Looks great

Honestly, just make sure an electrician checks ur wiring first cuz safety is huge. Love the GT!!

Curious about one thing: basically is ur garage already wired for a 50-amp circuit or are you starting from scratch? I mean, I'm kinda a beginner with this stuff, but I heard the GT pulls a lot of power... I'd honestly just look at any of the hardwired options from Wallbox since they're sleek. Just be careful with the wiring cuz safety is HUGE and maybe check with an electrician first?

1. Check your panel capacity
2. Consider hardwiring for the full 11kW

So I’ve been living with the GT for over a year now and went a slightly different route to keep costs down without sacrificing that 11kW speed. Honestly, instead of the big-name brands, I picked up the Emporia EV Charger and it’s been a tank. Technically speaking, it handles the 48A continuous load perfectly, and the internal components are surprisingly beefy for the price point. The real pro tip for the budget side is checking your local utility’s rebate portal first. I managed to stack a federal tax credit with a local utility "smart charging" incentive that actually paid for the unit and half the electrician’s bill. Since the Audi app can be such a headache for scheduling, having a charger with its own robust energy monitoring is huge. I can see exactly how many cents I’m spending per mile in real-time. If you want that premium vibe without the premium markup, its definitely worth looking into the rebate side of things before you buy. It makes the "visible" aspect of the charger a lot easier to stomach when it basically paid for itself.

Ok adding this to my list of things to try. Thanks for the tip!
