Just picked up my new BMW iX and I’m absolutely loving the drive! However, the interior feels like it needs a few functional additions to keep it pristine. I’m specifically looking for high-quality all-weather floor mats and perhaps a screen protector for that massive curved display. For those who’ve had theirs for a while, what are the absolute must-have accessories you'd recommend starting with?

Here's what I recommend after trying a few. Honestly, I had issues with the fit of generic brands, so I went with BMW iX Genuine All-Weather Floor Mats vs WeatherTech FloorLiner for BMW iX. The OEM ones look way better and have a precise 100% fit, but WeatherTech covers more of the side walls. For the screen, definitely get the Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector for BMW iX Curved Display. It’s 9H hardness and basically eliminates fingerprints which is huge. gl!
Sooo when I first got my iX, I was literally terrified of scratching that console. I'm a bit of a cautious owner, so I went for the TuxMat Floor Mats for BMW iX instead. They cover way more of the carpet than most brands, which is basically a lifesaver for keeping things pristine. Also, I’m satisfied with the Vancity iX Center Console Protector to stop fingerprints on the wood. It just works well tho! Good luck!!
Seconding the recommendation above regarding those mats! Honestly, protecting the iX is kind of a rabbit hole because everything is sooo expensive to fix later. Since ur looking for budget-friendly but high-quality ways to keep it pristine, I've been looking into two different paths for the screen and floor.
I mean, basically, you gotta decide if you want the "official" look or max coverage:
1. 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Floor Mats for BMW iX vs the TuxMats mentioned earlier. The 3D MAXpider ones are usually a bit cheaper and look way more "factory" because of the carbon fiber texture, though they don't cover as much of the side carpet as TuxMat.
2. For the screen, I'm lowkey worried about glare. I've been looking at the Vancrosoft Matte Screen Protector for BMW iX Curved Display which is a solid alternative if you want to save a few bucks compared to the big name brands. It really helps with fingerprints too!
Anyway... hope that helps! It's a journey lol. 👍
Commenting to find later
I've been thinking about your question for a while. In my experience with BMWs over the years, I've actually moved away from using screen protectors entirely. I know the other guys are recommending them, but I've seen too many cases where the adhesive bonds with the factory anti-glare coating after a few hot summers. It can turn into a real mess if you ever try to swap it out, and that curved glass is way too expensive to gamble with. I'm curious tho, are you mostly worried about actual physical damage like scratches from gear, or is it just the fingerprints that are bugging you? Also, what kind of climate are you in? It helps to know if you're fighting deep mud and snow or just regular dust before deciding on those floor mats. TL;DR: Think twice about screen adhesives as they can ruin the factory coating; evaluate your actual weather needs before going overboard.
