Seconding the recommendation above. Honestly, I've tried a few setups on my E92 and found that while the ultra-heavy 500g knobs look cool, they totally kill the feedback of the gearbox iirc. I went through a phase where I bought a really expensive solid steel one, but it was basically impossible to touch after sitting in the sun for an hour. Ngl it was a huge waste of money. My current setup is a leather-wrapped one that's slightly shorter than stock; it cost way less and the weight is balanced enough to smooth the shifts without feeling like a sledgehammer.
