Best seat covers that match Buick leather colors?

Hey everyone, I recently picked up a 2022 Buick Enclave and I absolutely love the interior. The leather is that beautiful, distinct 'Shale' color with the wood-tone accents, and it just feels really premium. However, I have two young kids and a golden retriever who joins us on weekend trips, and I’m already starting to panic about ruining the upholstery.

I’ve been scouring the internet for seat covers, but I’m having a really hard time finding anything that actually matches the specific Buick leather shades. Most of the 'tan' or 'beige' options I see on Amazon look way too yellow or grey compared to the actual interior. I really want something that looks like it belongs there rather than a cheap universal cover that sticks out like a sore thumb. I’m looking for a snug, custom-fit feel—ideally something that won't interfere with the heated and ventilated seat functions, as that’s a feature I use daily.

I’ve looked into brands like Clazzio and Coverking, but it's so hard to tell if their swatches actually align with the Buick color palette (specifically the Shale and Ebony tones). I’m willing to spend a bit more—maybe in the $300 to $500 range—if it means getting a high-quality material that mimics the factory look and feel. I’ve even considered just getting a rear bench cover, but if I can find a full set that matches the front buckets perfectly, I’d jump on it.

Has anyone here found a specific brand or a particular color code that is a near-perfect match for the Buick leather? I’d love to hear from anyone who has installed these in an Enclave, Envision, or Encore. Which materials have you found to be the most durable without looking like plastic?

For your situation, I'd honestly go with Clazzio in their PVC or leather insert options. I put them in my Enclave and the 'Beige' is almost a perfect match for that Shale interior. Seriously, people think it's the factory leather! They’re super snug and didn't mess with my heated seats at all. Ngl, the install is a bit of a workout for your hands, but it’s worth it for the custom look. 👍

Seconding the recommendation above! Clazzio is definitely solid for color matching, but honestly, you gotta be careful with those side airbags. Custom-fit covers like Clazzio or Coverking are usually okay, but generic ones can block the deployment. If you go with the leatherette option, it's super durable for dogs, but i'd basically check if they have the specific perforation for the ventilated seats... otherwise, you're gonna lose that cooling effect. gl!

TL;DR: Custom brands match best but check airbag compatibility first.

If youre looking for a true factory finish and are comfortable with a more technical DIY project, you should check out Katzkin Leather Interiors replacement kits. Most people think of these as a pro-only thing, but you can buy the kits and do the install yourself if you have some basic tools and patience. They aren't slip-ons; you actually remove the original upholstery and hog-ring the new leather directly to the seat foam. Its a lot of work but their is zero 'bunching' or sliding around like you get with standard covers. Technical tip: if you go with EKR Custom Fit Car Seat Covers instead, make sure you double-check their 'Breathable' series. The Shale match is surprisingly close, but the key is the perforation diameter. Buick’s ventilation system relies on a specific CFM airflow—if the cover's holes are too small or the foam backing is too dense, you’ll basically burn out the blower motor over time because of the backpressure. Idk if I’d trust universal 'breathable' fabrics; look for laser-cut patterns specifically for the Enclave's cooling units. TL;DR: A full re-skin kit is the only way to get a 100% match, but if you do covers, ensure they have laser-cut perforations to save your seat fans.

> Most of the 'tan' or 'beige' options I see on Amazon look way too yellow or grey compared to the actual interior. Ugh, I totally feel your pain on this. I've spent way too much money testing swatches that looked great online but turned out way too orange or grey once they were actually in the Enclave. It's honestly a huge letdown when you're trying to keep that premium feel. If you're doing the install yourself, I'd suggest checking out CalTrend NeoSupreme Custom Seat Covers in their Sandstone shade. While it's not a 100% molecular match, it's the closest I've found that doesn't have that weird yellow tint. Plus, the NeoSupreme material is a lifesaver with a golden retriever. Unlike the faux leather stuff, it doesn't get those tiny puncture marks from claws as easily. One thing to watch for—make sure you get the ones specifically cut for the Enclave's seat controls. If you take your time and really tuck the material into the plastic trim pieces during the DIY, you can get a really clean look. Just don't rush it, or you'll get those annoying wrinkles in the bolsters. Let me know if you run into trouble with the straps underneath!
