Hey everyone! I just recently took delivery of a 2025 Buick Enclave, and I’m absolutely loving the redesign so far—the new tech and the updated styling are a huge step up. However, I’ve run into a bit of a practical hurdle. My family and I are planning a pretty extensive road trip up to the mountains later this summer, and I quickly realized that even with the decent cargo space in the back, we’re definitely going to need a roof box to fit all our camping gear and luggage.

The 2025 model features those sleek, flush side rails, but I’m struggling to find confirmed information on which crossbars are the best fit for this specific year. I’ve looked at the official Buick accessories site, and while they do offer an OEM set, they are quite pricey, and I’m not entirely sure how they hold up in terms of durability and wind noise compared to the big aftermarket names. I’ve always been a fan of Thule and Yakima because of their build quality, but since the 2025 Enclave is so new, many of the 'fit my vehicle' tools on their websites haven't been fully updated yet or are showing 'no results found' for the new generation.

I have a couple of specific concerns I'm hoping some of you might have insight on. First, I’m worried about the clearance for the panoramic moonroof. I’d hate to install a set of bars only to find out I can’t tilt or slide the roof without hitting the mounting brackets. Second, I’m looking for something with a high weight capacity that won't create a ton of drag or that annoying whistling sound at highway speeds.

Has anyone here already added crossbars to their 2025 Enclave? Did you go with the factory bars from the dealer, or have you found an aftermarket kit that perfectly matches the new rail profile? I'm looking for a solid recommendation that balances a low-profile look with actual functionality. What brands or specific models are you finding work best for the 2025 redesign?

Story time: I actually went through this exact same thing with my new Enclave. I was super worried about the moonroof clearance too, but I ended up trying the Yakima JetStream Crossbars 60 inch Black with the Yakima SightLine FX Towers for Flush Rails.

Honestly, I'm sooo happy I did because:
* Clearance is literally perfect—no issues with the glass at all.
* Super quiet on the highway, basically zero whistling.
* Lower profile than the OEM stuff I saw at the dealer.

It was about $600 for the kit, but the quality is highkey better than the factory bars imo. Good luck with the trip! 👍

Honestly, if you're hauling heavy camping gear, you gotta prioritize structural integrity and T-slot compatibility. Since the 2025 Enclave is still fresh, the fitment data is sparse, but based on the rail specs, I highkey recommend looking at the Thule WingBar Evo 135 Load Bars paired with the Thule Evo Flush Rail Foot Pack.

I've seen some testing on these flush rails, and the Thule setup is basically the gold standard for safety cuz of the torque-limiter keys—you literally can't over-tighten them and crush your rails. Regarding the moonroof, these sit high enough to avoid collision but low enough to stay aerodynamic. If you're worried about that annoying whistling, the Thule WindDiffuser technology is legit. Another solid, more rugged option is the Rhino-Rack Vortex ROC25 Flush Roof Rack which has a really high dynamic load rating if you're planning on a massive box. Just make sure to double-check the bolt-hole alignment, but these should be way more reliable than some generic kit. Good luck with the trip!! 👍

Honestly, the OEM prices are insane lol. If ur looking for a budget-friendly alternative that actually fits the 2025 redesign, definitely check out BougeRV Universal Anti-Theft Roof Rack Cross Bars 53 inch.

I've used these on similar flush rails and they're basically a steal at under $150.

* Low profile so they wont whistle at highway speeds
* Adjustable clamps for that flush rail grip
* Solid weight capacity for heavy camping gear

Just measure the rail spread first to be safe, but they should clear the moonroof no problem! gl!

^ This. Also, it's pretty frustrating that 2025 owners are basically beta testers for these rack companies right now. Unfortunately, the options are still kinda slim if you dont want to overpay at the dealership. Here is the gist of what people are finding:

  • OEM parts fit perfectly but the price is honestly insulting.
  • Yakima setups are usually the quietest for long highway hauls.
  • Thule is built like a tank but their mounting kits are hard to track down lately. Honestly, just go with Yakima across the board. You cant really go wrong with their gear for flush rails, and they usually handle the moonroof clearance better than the others. Good luck with the trip, sounds like it is gonna be a blast once you get the gear sorted!

Ok so, I literally just went through this exact same headache last month after picking up my Avenir trim. Honestly, I'm sooo happy with the redesign, but trying to find parts for a brand new model year is such a pain! I spent hours looking at Thule and Yakima too, but like you said, their fitment guides are basically useless right now cuz the 2025 is so fresh.

I ended up biting the bullet and getting the GM Buick Enclave Roof Rack Cross Rail Package 85655781. I know, I know—they’re kinda pricey compared to some random Amazon bars, but let me tell you, it was worth it for the peace of mind alone. Since these are the OEM ones, they fit the flush rails perfectly without any weird gaps. Plus, I was super worried about the panoramic moonroof too!! Happy to report that there's plenty of clearance. I can tilt and slide the glass all the way back with no issues at all.

As for the noise, they’re surprisingly quiet. I’ve been running them with a Thule Motion XT XL Cargo Carrier and even at highway speeds, there's barely any whistling. It’s a really low-profile look, which I love. If your looking for an aftermarket alternative, I think some guys on the Trax forums (similar rail style) are using the Yakima JetStream Crossbars 60 inch with the SightLine towers, but honestly, for a 2025, the factory bars just work with zero guesswork. Anyway, hope that helps ur trip prep! gl!
