Hey everyone! I recently joined the club and picked up a 2024 Buick Encore GX in the Sport Touring trim. I absolutely love how quiet the cabin is and the overall layout of the dashboard, but now that the initial excitement of the new car smell is wearing off, I am starting to look for ways to really make the interior my own. While it feels premium for its class, I think there is definitely room for some functional and aesthetic improvements.
I have noticed a couple of minor pain points during my daily commute. First off, the center console feels like a bit of a deep dark pit where my keys and coins just disappear. I am definitely looking for some sort of organizer that actually fits the dimensions of the GX. Secondly, while the stock lighting is okay, it feels a bit dim when I am trying to find things in the footwells or the back seat at night. I have seen some people talk about LED bulb swaps or even subtle ambient lighting kits, but I do not want anything that looks like a cheap DIY project or requires cutting into the factory wiring.
I am also thinking about protection. I live in an area where we get quite a bit of rain and mud, so I am debating between the official Buick all-weather liners or going with a third-party brand like TuxMat or WeatherTech. I want something that looks sleek and covers the hump in the back row completely. Aside from those basics, are there any other hidden gems you guys have found? Maybe some high-quality seat covers that do not interfere with the side airbags or even some subtle trim upgrades to brighten up the door panels?
My budget for this first round of upgrades is around $400 to $500. I am fairly handy but I would prefer things that are relatively easy to install. What are the top interior upgrades you have added to your Encore GX that actually made a difference in your daily driving experience?

yo, congrats on the new ride! honestly, the console pit is the worst part lol. for your situation i'd suggest focusing on the floor mats first since you mentioned mud. i compared the TuxMat Custom Floor Mats for 2024 Buick Encore GX and the WeatherTech FloorLiner for 2024 Buick Encore GX. basically, tuxmat covers way more carpet and looks more premium, whereas weathertech is easier to just hose off but looks a bit more like a work truck. here is what i recommend:
- get the Vesul Center Console Organizer Tray for 2024 Buick Encore GX to fix the deep pit issue. it's like twenty bucks and fits perfect.
- for lighting, try the Govee Smart Car LED Interior Lights H6114 instead of bulbs. you just plug it into the cig lighter and hide the wires under the trim. no cutting needed! anyway, those three should keep u well under that 500 budget right? good luck!

Late to the party but ive lived with this car for a while now and found that less is usually more if u want it to stay lookin clean. When i first picked up mine i spent way too much on official accessories that honestly felt a bit cheap so i ended up swapping most of it out after six months. Heres what actually survived my daily grind:
- Floor Mats: I tried the heavy rubber ones first but hated how they looked after a week of dirt. Switched to the 3D MAXpider Kagu All-Weather Floor Mats for Buick Encore GX and never looked back. To add to the point above: unfortunately, many of the budget LED upgrades for the GX end up flickering after a few months because they cant handle the voltage spikes. I had issues with a few generic brands before finding something that actually stayed cool and didnt trigger a bulb-out warning.
- Lasfit 194 168 T10 LED Bulb White 6000K - these are way more stable for the footwells and cargo area than those cheap adhesive strips.
- 3D MAXpider KAGU Series All-Weather Floor Mats for Buick Encore GX - honestly, these look way more high-end than the thick rubber mats, tho they dont hold as much deep mud as the commercial-looking brands.
- Muslogy Center Console Organizer for 2024 Buick Encore GX - this one actually uses a better friction fit so it wont rattle when you go over bumps or take sharp turns. The stock console is basically a black hole, but many organizers are made of thin plastic that sounds cheap every time you drop your keys in. Spend the extra bit on something with thicker walls and proper rubber inserts... it really helps maintain that quiet cabin vibe Buick is known for.
