What are the actual best roof rack options for a Buick Enclave that wont break the bank or make a ton of noise? Im getting so frustrated looking at this stuff. I checked out the Thule WingBar Evo but $600 is way over my budget and then the cheap Amazon ones have reviews saying they dont even fit the flush side rails properly. We are driving from Ohio to the Outer Banks in three weeks and I really need a reliable setup for our cargo carrier. Is there anything in the middle ground that isnt junk? I dont want something that is gonna whistle the whole ten hour drive or rust out after one season...

Just saw this thread and wanted to jump in because I went through the same headache last year. Over the years I have tried everything from the high-end stuff to the total junk, and in my experience, you really dont need to drop $600 to get a quiet ride. I have been using the Malone AirFlow2 Aluminum Aero Cross Rail System 50 inch on my Enclave and it is probably the best middle ground out there. The build quality is surprisingly beefy for the price. The secret to avoiding that annoying whistling is all in the installation. Most people skip the rubber buffer strips that go in the bottom track, but those are vital for killing wind noise. If you leave any gaps in the T-slot, it creates a flute effect. I have taken these on multiple long hauls and they stay dead silent as long as they are sealed up right. Definitely a solid choice if you want reliability without the brand-name tax.

Honestly, most cheap bars are a mess because T-slot tolerances are usually way off. I had issues with generic fitment on my Enclave too. Unfortunately, if you want quiet, you need a true aero profile.
