sooo i saw this earlier and wanted to chime in cuz i had the SAME issue with my Envision. honestly, the built-in charger is kinda trash for bigger phones.

Check out these two options i've tested:

1. Carqiwiz Wireless Charger for Buick Envision 2021-2023 - basically fits like it came from the factory. it's under $80 and has a non-slip mat so no more sliding. plus it's 15W so it's actually fast.

2. Sisyphus Buick Envision Wireless Charging Pad - a bit cheaper, maybe $60? super easy install but the grip isn't *quite* as good as the Carqiwiz imo.

Stumbled upon this discussion and honestly, I went through this last year. I was pretty disappointed with the OEM setup in the Envision cuz the induction coils just aren't aligned for the newer, massive Pro Max or Ultra phones. Technically, it's a thermal management issue—when the phone slides, the efficiency drops, and the heat builds up, which basically throttles the charging speed to a crawl.

I've tried a few things to fix the "slide" factor:

1. Did you notice if your phone case has a high friction coefficient or if it's one of those slick silicone ones?
2. Are you looking for a drop-in pad that overrides the factory Qi, or a magnetic mount that sits on the console edge?

My experience with a high-wattage aftermarket pad was okay, but the heat dissipation was still kinda bad compared to a dedicated magnetic mount. Plus, the cable management is always the hardest part to keep clean!!
