Hello, I'm planning to use it with Buick LaCrosse and need a cargo liner recommendation. What would you take?

I can highly recommend Nextbase 622GW Dash Cam for Buick LaCrosse! The design is beautiful The build quality feels premium and should last for years.

For Buick LaCrosse I would also check the warranty. Do you need extended coverage?

Tbh I thought I was in the wrong thread reading those first few replies! But yeah, getting back to the actual question, the previous post finally touched on the right technical specs like TPE material and spill containment. Honestly, for a LaCrosse, you want something that matches the premium feel of the car while being REALLY durable. I always recommend the WeatherTech Cargo Liner because they use laser-mapping tech that beats any universal fit. Here is why the high-end custom liners are better:

  • They use a patented tri-extruded composition for a rigid core but soft surface
  • The digital measurements ensure the liner wont slide or bunch up under heavy loads
  • The surface tension is designed to trap fluids so they dont slosh onto your carpet Basically, you are looking for a liner that stays flexible in sub-zero temps and has a high lip for those accidental grocery spills. It is a bit more expensive upfront, but it preserves the trunk carpet perfectly for resale. And like, just being able to pull it out and hose it down in two minutes is a total game changer.

Tbh I’m kinda confused why everyone is talking about dash cams here lol. Not sure if I missed a page, but the OP was asking about cargo liners for the trunk. If you’re looking for actual protection, you gotta focus on the material specs rather than tech features. Based on some community reviews I've seen:
* Look for high-density TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) for better wear resistance
* Check if it has a raised lip for spill containment
* Make sure the surface has a high friction coefficient so your gear isn't sliding around IIRC, the generic 'one size fits all' ones usually leave gaps that let dirt get into the carpet. Not sure which specific brand is topping the charts lately, but the consensus usually leans toward laser-measured options to maintain the interior's integrity. Just my two cents.
