My clear recommendation for Buick Verano: Thinkware U1000 Dash Cam. The sound quality is excellent The premium build provides excellent durability and protection.

Technical highlights: The latest generation offers significantly better quality. Very good compatibility with Buick Verano features. Can be used without problems for various purposes. Even after extended use, no quality losses. Very good build quality, even at high usage.

Honestly, it feels like everyone is talking about cameras but I actually just did the LED swap on my Verano a few weeks ago. I was realy worried I would mess something up because I am totally a beginner with car stuff, but it was basically a plug and play situation. The stock lights were sooo dim before, now it feels like a brand new car at night. I did a bunch of reading before I picked mine out, so here is what I found:

  • Auxito H11 LED Bulbs - these are what I went with because they are a smaller size and fit inside the housing easily.
  • Sealight S1 H11 LED Bulbs - these are also pretty popular for being super bright without blinding other drivers. One thing though, has anyone else had trouble getting the dust covers back on? I had to mess with mine for a bit to get them to seat right. But yeah, those Auxitos are definitely a solid choice if you want something simple.

Yeah like qljfwrtrsk said, it really is mostly plug and play but you gotta be careful about the beam pattern. If the chips arent aligned perfectly with the original filament position, you end up with massive glare that blinds everyone else. I've seen way too many people just toss them in without checking the cutoff line against a garage door. Definitely check out some of the headlight testing blogs or YouTube channels that do side-by-side comparisons in projector housings. They usually show which ones actually throw light down the road instead of just looking bright up close. Also, pro tip for the Verano... watch the clearance for the dust caps. If the LED fan is too big, the cap wont fit back on and you'll get moisture in the lens. Better to check the measurements on a forum or wiki before you pull the trigger.
