Best cargo organizers for the Cadillac XT5 trunk space?

Hey everyone! I recently picked up a 2022 Cadillac XT5, and while I’m absolutely in love with the smooth ride and the interior finish, I’m struggling a bit with the trunk situation. The cargo area is actually quite spacious, but it feels like a giant empty void where everything just slides around the moment I take a turn or hit the brakes.

Last week, I went grocery shopping and had a gallon of milk tip over and a bag of apples spill across the entire floor. It was a mess! I really want to keep the interior looking pristine, especially since I have the lighter Sahara Beige upholstery. I’ve looked at the official Cadillac accessories, like the floor-mounted cargo management system with the adjustable fence, but I’m wondering if it’s actually worth the premium price tag or if it ends up being more in the way than it is helpful.

I’m looking for something that fits the premium feel of the XT5—nothing too flimsy or cheap-looking. I’ve also been eyeing some third-party collapsible organizers or maybe a heavy-duty net system. My main requirements are that it needs to stay secure on the carpet (no sliding!), handle taller items like wine bottles or cleaning supplies without them tipping, and ideally be easy to remove if I need to fold the seats down for a larger haul.

Does anyone have a specific brand or model they’ve found fits the dimensions of the XT5 perfectly? Specifically, has anyone tried the Rola organizers or the weather-tech options in this specific vehicle? I’d love to hear what you’re using to keep your trunk from becoming a chaotic mess!

Honestly, if ur worried about that Sahara Beige interior (totally get it, it's gorgeous), you gotta be careful with those cheap bins that slide around. After looking at a bunch of options, I'd say skip the flimsy stuff and go for the AutoDrive Collapsible Trunk Organizer with Non-Slip Bottom. It's super sturdy for wine bottles and cleaning supplies but way more flexible than the OEM fence. Also, the Fortem Car Trunk Organizer with Straps is a solid bet because you can actually TETHER it to the XT5 cargo hooks so it literally won't budge during hard stops. GL! 👍

For your situation, I've been looking at the specs and tbh you gotta go for the Rola 59001 M.O.V.E. Rigid Base Trunk Organizer. It literally beats the OEM Cadillac fence because it has those non-slip pads that grip the carpet like crazy!! It basically handles the XT5's 30 cubic feet perfectly. If you want something more heavy-duty, the WeatherTech CargoTech Containment System is AMAZING because those plastic corners use friction to keep wine bottles from tipping over, plus it's way cheaper than the dealer option at around $30-40. Honestly, the Rola is my top pick cuz it's so rigid!

One hard brake sent my groceries flying, which felt dangerous. I switched to the WeatherTech blocks for safety. They're super stable and honestly, they keep everything locked down perfectly. Sooo worth it!

Sooo I actually had a similar nightmare with my XT5 right after I got it—half a bottle of olive oil leaked onto the floor and I about lost my mind lol. I'd actually suggest a different approach than the rigid organizers mentioned before. While those heavy bins stay put, they can be a real pain to move when you suddenly need the full floor space for a big luggage haul. Honestly, I've found that keeping it simple and versatile is way better for the wallet too.

1. Skip the expensive OEM fence. It's cool, but basically limits how you use the floor space.
2. Just get any quality cargo net system from a reputable brand like WeatherTech. They're cheap, handle tall bottles perfectly, and you can just unhook 'em in two seconds.
3. Grab some basic Velcro-bottom blocks or generic dividers. They stick to the XT5 carpet like glue and let you customize the layout on the fly.

Tbh, I learned that the more complex the system, the more it gets in the way. Simple nets and blocks are the way to go for value. 👍

So I’ve been through exactly what ur dealing with—honestly, nothing ruins a weekend like scrubbing the carpet in a Cadillac lol. Since I’m a bit of a DIY person and super cautious about my interior, I actually skipped the off-the-shelf bins and spent some time customizing my own setup. I found that most "universal" stuff just doesn't sit right on the XT5's specific floor dimensions or carpet texture.

My current setup involves using some heavy-duty industrial-grade grip mats that I cut to fit the floor perfectly, then I rigged up some adjustable dividers. It took a bit of measuring, but it’s way more reliable than the flimsy stuff you see online. I learned the hard way that if you don't secure the base layer first, even the best organizer becomes a projectile during a hard stop. Basically, if you’re handy, you can make something that fits the premium vibe way better than a cheap plastic bucket. It keeps my taller bottles upright and hasn't budged in months. Definitely worth the DIY effort to protect that Sahara Beige tho.

TL;DR: Built a custom divider setup with non-slip industrial liners because the generic options felt too cheap for the XT5 interior and didn't stay secure enough for my liking.
