Hey everyone! I just picked up my new LYRIQ and I'm absolutely loving the interior, but I’m already worried about keeping those floors pristine. I’m looking for recommendations for high-quality all-weather floor mats and a cargo liner that won't ruin the premium vibe. I’ve looked at the official Cadillac accessories, but I’m curious if anyone has tried TuxMat or WeatherTech for better coverage near the dead pedal or the rear seat area. Also, how does the cargo liner handle the access to the sub-floor storage? I need something durable that fits perfectly without sliding around. What are you guys using, and are you happy with the fit and finish?

Seconding the recommendation above. Official mats dont protect the dead pedal well. Try TuxMat Floor Mats for Cadillac LYRIQ for safety, tho their cargo liner makes sub-floor access pretty difficult unfortunately.

sooo, i went through this last year when i first got my LYRIQ. being a bit of a safety nut, im highkey obsessed with fitment, especially after i had a cheap mat slide forward and almost jam the brake in a previous ride... literally terrified me. in my experience, if the mat doesnt have a precise locking mechanism or super high sidewalls, it’s honestly a liability. i tried the WeatherTech ones and they were solid, but the coverage near the dead pedal felt a bit exposed for my taste. i eventually realized that with the cargo liner, you basically have to choose between easy sub-floor access and total protection. ur definitely right to be cautious about the 'premium vibe' tho, cuz some of those rugged mats look like they belong in a truck, not a caddy. basically, the lesson i learned is that total floor coverage is way more important for safety than just looking sleek. quick question—are you dealing with heavy snow and mud, or just everyday dust?? and honestly, how often do you actually need to get into that sub-floor storage??

In my experience, choosing the right protection is HUGE for the LYRIQ!! I’ve actually tested a few different approaches to keep things pristine. Option A was the official liners—they look sleek but honestly don't cover the dead pedal well enough for me. Option B was the rugged, industrial-style mats which are durable but lowkey ruin that premium vibe. Option C, which is the setup I finally went with, uses a more tailored material that covers everything up to the trim. The coverage in the rear is fantastic too, especially if you have passengers! Regarding the cargo area, seriously be careful with how it handles the sub-floor. My current one has a built-in hinge point so I can access my gear without the whole thing sliding around. It's reallyyy about balancing that luxury feel with actual safety. Whatever ur leaning towards, just make sure it’s securely fastened to the floor anchors... you don’t want any sliding near those pedals!! gl!!

sooo, i went through this last year. basically, floor protection is key cuz moisture trapped under cheap mats can actually cause mold issues. i was really worried about the fit, so i looked into WeatherTech and TuxMat. i actually tried a cheaper set first but the sliding was super sketchy... definitely a safety risk if it bunches up. TL;DR: Go with WeatherTech, you can't go wrong for safety and coverage.

Regarding what #4 said about "sooo, i went through this last year when..." - i totally get that safety concern. I've tried many different setups over the years and fitment is the most important thing by far. For the LYRIQ, you're basically choosing between utility and style.

  • TuxMat All-Weather Floor Mats for Cadillac LYRIQ look the most premium and cover almost every inch of carpet. They're great if you want to keep that high-end feel.
  • WeatherTech FloorLiner DigitalFit for Cadillac LYRIQ are bulletproof for heavy mud but look a bit more industrial. Quick tip for the cargo area: the Cadillac LYRIQ Premium All-Weather Cargo Tray is actually the best choice if you use the sub-floor often. Most aftermarket liners are one stiff piece of plastic, making it a huge pain to reach your charging cables. The OEM one has a natural hinge point that works way better... trust me, it saves a lot of daily frustration.
