Hey everyone! I just picked up a new Cadillac Escalade, and with winter right around the corner, I’m getting a bit nervous about the light-colored carpet in the cabin. Between the kids tracking in mud from soccer practice and the inevitable slush and salt, I really need to find a solid set of all-weather floor mats that actually fit the luxury vibe of the vehicle.

I’ve been looking at the official Cadillac liners, but I’ve also heard great things about brands like WeatherTech and Husky. My main concern is the coverage—especially for the second and third rows. I want something that stays securely in place without sliding around and has a deep enough lip to catch spills. Since the Escalade has such a specific interior layout, I’m worried about getting a universal fit that looks cheap or leaves gaps near the door sills.

Does anyone have experience with a specific brand that matches the Escalade’s interior well? I’m looking for something durable but not too industrial-looking. Also, if you have the captain’s chairs in the second row, which mats provide the best pass-through protection? I'd love to hear your recommendations on which ones are worth the investment!

Seconding the recommendation above for flexible liners! Safety-wise, industrial ones can actually get slipery when wet. I'd honestly look at 3D MAXpider Kagu Series Floor Mats—they're basically half the price of OEMs and dont slide at all. 👍

So basically the consensus is that the OEM liners look the best but Husky Liners WeatherBeater Floor Mats are the way to go if you want better coverage over the door sills. Saw this earlier but just now responding... honestly I've tried many different setups over the years and for the money, you gotta look at 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Floor Liners.

In my experience, WeatherTech FloorLiner HP is just too stiff and looks cheap in a high-end cabin. If you're looking for value without sacrificing the luxury vibe, the 3D MAXpider mats are literally the best of both worlds. They have a carbon fiber-ish texture that doesn't look like industrial rubber, plus the "MAXpider" backing means they WON'T slide at all.

Comparison-wise:
- 3D MAXpider KAGU Floor Mats: Best aesthetics, super grippy, moderate price.
- SMARTLINER Custom Fit Floor Mats: Best budget option, decent lip for spills, but feels slightly more plastic-y.

I'd go with the MAXpiders for the pass-through—they fit the Escalade layout perfectly. gl!

Ok so I actually had a bad experience with the WeatherTech FloorLiner HP... unfortunately they felt way too industrial and stiff for my Escalade. I'd honestly suggest the Husky Liners WeatherBeater Floor Mats instead because they're basically more flexible and cover the door sills better tbh.

sooo i totally get the stress about those light carpets... honestly i went with the official brand liners cuz i was worried about the fit too. basically they match the interior texture way better than the industrial stuff. but be careful with the second row pass-through... my current setup is alright but i think some gaps still show. make sure to check the lip height tho cuz slush is realy messy!! gl

Re: "Seconding the recommendation above for flexible liners! Safety-wise,..."

  • I totally get that. Over the years, I've seen way too many rigid liners curl at the edges once the summer heat hits them, which is a total nightmare for safety and looks terrible in a high-end rig like the Escalade. In my experience testing different setups across several GM SUVs, the main issue isnt just the mud... it's the salt creep into the side rails. I tried the usual suspects but found that TuxMat Custom Car Mats for Cadillac Escalade actually offers the most vertical coverage I've ever seen. They look way less like a utility van and more like a high-end lounge, covering almost all the exposed carpet up the sides of the center console and the door sills. If you want something a bit lower profile but still rugged, Lloyd Mats Northridge All-Weather Floor Mats are another solid pick. They dont have that plastic-y bucket feel that some people hate. Quick tips for the install:
  • Use the side clips to tuck the edges under the plastic trim for a seamless look.
  • Make sure the carpet is bone dry before installing to prevent any funky smells trapped underneath. The TuxMats are killer for the pass-through between the captain's chairs too, basically zero gaps for the kids to ruin.
