I just picked up a new Cadillac XT4 and I’m looking to protect the trunk area before things get messy. I do a lot of weekend gardening and haul groceries, so I need something durable that can handle dirt and occasional spills. I’ve been looking at the official Cadillac liners, but I’ve heard mixed things about the fit compared to brands like WeatherTech or Husky. I’m specifically looking for a liner that doesn't slide around and has a raised lip to catch liquids. Does anyone have experience with a specific brand that fits the XT4’s cargo dimensions perfectly? I'd love to know which one you think offers the best quality for the price.

If you’re looking for the best fit, WeatherTech DigitalFit liners are generally considered the gold standard for the Cadillac XT4. They offer laser-measured precision that covers every nook of the cargo area.

For a more premium feel that matches the Cadillac interior, many owners highly rate LuxeShield or MAXPIDER Kagu mats; they provide excellent liquid protection without the "industrial" plastic look. Both options are durable, easy to clean, and stay securely in place during spirited drives.

sooo i totally get the struggle of trying to keep a new ride clean lol. i literally went through this exact same thing after hauling a leaky bag of mulch in my new XT4. i ended up geeking out over the specs because i wanted a *perfect* seal to protect the carpet... i basically looked at everything.

For your situation, I would suggest checking out the WeatherTech Cargo Liner for Cadillac XT4 401222 vs the Husky Liners WeatherBeater Cargo Liner 22161.

Honestly, I went with the WeatherTech first cuz the laser-measured data seemed legit, but it felt a bit stiff and plasticky? It has a solid 2-inch lip for spills tho. But then I saw my buddy's Husky Liners WeatherBeater Cargo Liner 22161 and I lowkey liked it better. It's more of a rubberized material so your groceries dont slide around as much, plus it has these little "StayPut" nibs on the bottom so it *actually* doesn't move.

The OEM Cadillac ones look cool with the logo, but i think the coverage is kinda mid compared to these two. If you want the absolute best grip for gardening stuff, I'd go Husky. If you want that rigid "tray" feel for liquid spills, go WeatherTech. Both fit the XT4 dimensions perfectly... i mean, i measured the Husky one and it was spot on. gl! 👍

Seconding the recommendation above! Honestly, keeping the trunk clean in a luxury ride like the XT4 is a must. I'm still kinda new to the whole car detailing scene, but I've been doing a ton of research because I really wanted to save some cash without getting a cheap product that smells like rubber for weeks lol.

I basically found that while those big names are cool, you can get the SMARTLINER Custom Fit Cargo Liner Black for 2019-2024 Cadillac XT4 for around $75-$85. It's way cheaper than the dealer options but still has that raised lip you're looking for to catch spills. Another solid budget-friendly pick is the MAXLINER Custom Fit Cargo Liner Floor Mat Black for 2019-2024 Cadillac XT4. It fits the dimensions perfectly so it wont slide around when youre hauling groceries. Technical-wise, these use a low-density polyethylene so they're flexible but tough. Hope that helps you save a few bucks!! peace

Jumping in here... Building on the earlier suggestion, I have a slightly different take after years of hauling mulch and damp plants in my Caddies. While others mentioned the industrial look as a negative, I actually think thats exactly what you need for gardening. In my experience, those fancy textured liners trap fine dust in the grains and they're a total pain to scrub clean. I've tried many brands and ended up preferring Lloyd Mats Northridge Custom Fit Cargo Mat for my XT4. The honeycomb design is way more practical than a smooth surface because it traps dirt in small pockets so it doesnt roll around when you're hitting corners. Quick tips for keeping things clean:

  • If the mat feels too stiff when it arrives, leave it flat in the sun for 20 mins. It softens the rubber so it molds to the trunk edges perfectly.
  • Always hose it off outside the car. Wiping it down inside just pushes dirt into the side carpet gaps. Honestly, the heavy-duty rubber might not look as 'luxury', but it wont stain and it lasts forever compared to the thinner TPE stuff.

Honestly, if youre worried about safety and chemicals, you gotta look at the WeatherTech Cargo Liner 401217 for Cadillac XT4. It uses a proprietary TPE material that stays flexible even in freezing temps so it wont crack and cause a trip hazard. Plus, it has that high-lip design which is CRITICAL for gardening spills. I checked the specs and the friction coefficient is high enough that your groceries wont slide and distract u while driving. Just make sure to clean it with water only... some soaps make it too slick!! peace
