Just took delivery of a new Escalade and I’m blown away by the cabin! I want to keep it looking showroom-new. I’m considering high-quality all-weather mats and a protector for that massive curved OLED screen. Are there any other 'must-have' accessories for storage or protection you’d recommend for a daily driver?
Honestly, I'd skip the generic mats; I had issues with some that slid around and it was actually kinda dangerous. For that screen, I'd ONLY trust the TheOCDPlug Cadillac Escalade 38 inch OLED Screen Protector to prevent scratches. Also, get the WeatherTech FloorLiner HP set because the factory ones unfortunately don't protect the carpet edges well enough. Just be careful with cheap organizers cuz they'll scuff your trim!! gl
saw this earlier... curious: you hauling kids? i'm satisfied with my gear but...
• TuxMat Custom Floor Mats: max coverage.
• 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Floor Liners: sleeker tech.
tell me ur setup! lol
Respectfully, I’d consider another approach! Safety is so AMAZINGLY critical!! Are you worried about bulky mats sliding near your pedals? Honestly, have you checked if covers mess with the interior sensors first??
Solid advice 👍
> Are there any other 'must-have' accessories for storage or protection you’d recommend for a daily driver? Just found this thread and congrats on the new ride. Before I suggest anything else, are you planning on handling the interior maintenance yourself or taking it to a detailer? I ask because if you're going the DIY route, your priorities for protection might shift a bit. I would suggest being very cautious with the center console area specifically. I think I heard from another owner that some of those aftermarket dividers can actually mar the interior surfaces if they aren't lined properly. Not sure if that's still an issue with the newest refresh, but I'd definitely double check the clearance before sliding anything in there. Someone told me the factory felt is surprisingly delicate, so just make sure to test a small spot first if you're adding any organizers.
Been using this for years, no complaints
