I’ve been loving my Cadillac XT5, but the rear cargo area is a bit of a challenge when it comes to keeping things from sliding around during turns. I’m looking for an organizer that actually fits the dimensions of the floor properly without blocking the cargo management rails or the spare tire access. I usually carry a mix of groceries and some sports gear, so I’d prefer something with adjustable dividers or a collapsible design. I’ve looked at the OEM Cadillac options, but they're a bit pricey—has anyone found a high-quality aftermarket brand that fits the XT5’s trunk shape perfectly? What specific cargo organizer are you using that stays secure and keeps everything in place?

Late to the party but I've spent way too much time obsessing over this for my own XT5! Ngl, the OEM cargo fence is a total rip-off for what it is. I did some serious market research and ended up comparing two specific setups that are literally perfect for our trunk dimensions without blocking that spare tire hatch.

1. Knodel Sturdy Car Trunk Organizer with Reinforcement Straps - This is my top pick. It fits snugly between the rails and the non-slip bottom is actually insane... nothing moves! Plus, the walls are super rigid so it won't collapse when you're taking sharp turns with groceries.
2. Honey-Can-Do SFT-01166 Large Folding Trunk Organizer - If you want something even more flexible for sports gear, this one is great. It's a bit more "loose" than the Knodel but fits the floor shape well and folds totally flat in seconds.

Honestly, I'd go with the Knodel cuz of those tie-down straps. It keeps everything sooo secure, you know? Good luck!

Ok so, I went through this last year when I first got my XT5 and honestly, I was sooo paranoid about scratching up the interior or having something heavy slide into the hatch glass. I looked at the official Cadillac ones too but the price tag was just... yikes. Like, I want quality, but I also don't want to pay a premium just for a logo you know??

I ended up being super cautious and spent way too much time measuring the floor space between those metal cargo rails. Basically, I wanted something that wouldn't budge during turns but was also easy to pull out if I needed to get to the spare. I eventually settled on the Drive Auto Car Trunk Organizer, and ngl, I've been really happy with how it sits. It’s got these sturdy tie-down straps that I hooked into the existing XT5 loops, so it doesn't slide around even when I'm taking corners a bit too fast lol. It fits perfectly in that middle section without blocking the side rails at all.

Quick tip: definitely look for something with a reinforced base. I noticed some cheaper bins sag when you lift them out with groceries, but this one stays rigid. Also, I always keep a cheap Gorilla Grip Non-Slip Durable Shelf Liner underneath it just for extra insurance against sliding. It works well and was way cheaper than the OEM setup. Anyway, just sharing what worked for me... hope it helps!! 👍

Check out the Starling's Car Trunk Organizer with Adjustable Compartments if ur looking for a solid fit. It literally stays put cuz of the tie-down straps that hook right into the XT5's cargo rails without blocking the spare tire hatch. Pro tip: look for anything with a non-slip bottom... basically essential so it doesnt slide during sharp turns. Honestly, most medium-sized collapsible bins work best for that specific floor dimension. gl!

Honestly, I've tried many setups over the years, and for the XT5, I'd probably go with the Fortem or TrunkCrratePro brands. They're high-quality and way cheaper than OEM. IIRC, the medium size fits perfectly between the rails without blocking the spare tire hatch. I mean, they have those non-slip pads on the bottom so nothing slides during turns... literally a lifesaver for groceries. GL! 👍
