Which cargo liners provide the best protection for Cadillac XT5?

Hey everyone! I recently picked up a 2023 Cadillac XT5, and I’m absolutely loving the interior quality so far. However, I’m a bit worried about the cargo area. I do a lot of weekend gardening and frequently haul groceries or sports gear, and I’m already seeing some dirt and grass getting trapped in the trunk carpet. I really want to keep the upholstery in pristine condition without sacrificing that premium Cadillac feel.

I’ve been looking at a few different options, specifically debating between the official Cadillac all-weather liners and the ones from WeatherTech or Husky. I’m curious if anyone has experience with the fitment of these—does the factory liner stay in place better, or do the aftermarket ones provide higher lip edges to catch liquid spills? I’m also wondering if any of these options interfere with the cargo management rail system if your XT5 is equipped with it.

I’m looking for something durable but not too 'industrial' looking. Does anyone have a specific brand they swear by for the XT5 that balances protection with a clean look?

yo, congrats on the new XT5!! honestly, i get the struggle cuz that carpet is basically a magnet for dirt. i've had mine for like three years now and went through a few options before settling on something i actually liked.

I would suggest checking out the WeatherTech ones if u want the best spill protection. but yeah, iirc, the factory Cadillac ones actually look way sleeker and match the interior vibe much better. here is what i remember from my trial and error:

* WeatherTech: amazing high edges, but kinda industrial-looking.
* Husky: seriously durable, but i think they might slide a tiny bit more than the OEM ones.
* OEM (Cadillac): best fit with the cargo rail system, lowkey doesn't block the tracks at all.

not sure but i think some people say the aftermarket ones need a bit of trimming if ur car has the fancy rail system, which is a total pain. anyway, i'd say go OEM for the looks or WeatherTech if you're doing heavy gardening. gl!

Honestly, the one I got for my XT5 actually had issues with the rail system... it basically covered the tracks entirely. I mean, it's great for gardening but so annoying for cargo management!

Works great for me
