Which cargo organizers work best for the Cadillac XT5 trunk space?

I recently picked up a Cadillac XT5, but my groceries keep sliding across that smooth trunk floor during every turn! I’m looking for an organizer that fits the dimensions perfectly or integrates with the factory cargo management rails. Does anyone have a specific brand or collapsible model that stays secure? What are you all using to keep things organized?

I went through this last year. Did some research and picked Rola 59001 M.O.V.E. Rigid-Base Trunk Organizer over the flimsy Honey-Can-Do Folding Trunk Organizer cuz it's way sturdier. ur thoughts??

I went through this last year. Honestly, seeing heavy groceries fly toward the back seats during hard braking was a huge safety concern for me!! After years of driving Caddies, I've learned that generic bins just dont cut it. I eventually settled on the WeatherTech CargoTech Cargo Containment System and its been a total game changer. Everything stays locked in place, which is way safer than loose bags sliding around ngl. GL!!

> groceries keep sliding across that smooth trunk floor I wasted cash on bins before finding Fortem Car Trunk Organizer 3-Compartment. Its 1680D polyester beats Drive Auto Car Trunk Organizer 2-Compartment, fits the XT5 perfectly, and is way cheaper than OEM. Highkey recommend!

> I recently picked up a Cadillac XT5, but my groceries keep sliding across that smooth trunk floor during every turn! Sooo, im kinda late to this thread but I totally get the frustration. Honestly, that XT5 floor is basically an ice rink!! I tried one of those cheap universal bins from a big box store and unfortunately it was a total fail—it just slid around with the groceries still inside, which was basically useless lol. I think I remember someone mentioning the WeatherTech cargo blocks? Theyre basically these L-shaped things that grip the carpet. Not 100% sure if theyll work perfectly on the XT5s specific floor texture if you have the rubber mat, but on stock carpet, I've heard they stay put. Plus, theyre way cheaper than the official Cadillac rail inserts. Another technical option is just getting a grippy cargo liner to stop the sliding altogether. Anyway, just my two cents! gl 👍

For your situation, I would suggest just going with the official Cadillac accessories. I'm super satisfied with how they lock into those factory cargo management rails—it literally stops everything from moving!! Honestly, any collapsible bin from WeatherTech would probably work too since their material is highkey grippy. Idk the exact specs but those brands always fit right. gl!

Just caught this thread and it honestly just makes me frustrated all over again. Ive been through a few of these SUVs over the years and the trunk floor is basically a greased up slide.

  • I actually tried to DIY a fix with some rubberized shelf liner and heavy duty staples once. It looked like a disaster and barely held up a week before it started peeling.
  • Had a major spill a few years back when a carton of eggs hit the side panel hard enough to crack every single one. Cleaning that out of the seat tracks was one of the worst afternoons of my life.
  • It is just exhausting having to brace yourself for every turn because you know something is gonna slam into the interior plastic. My current setup helps some but man, the factory floor is just way too slick for its own good.
