Any clever interior storage solutions for a Bolt EUV?

I’ve been loving my Bolt EUV, but I’m struggling a bit with the interior organization. The center console is deep but feels like a black hole, and the space under the 'floating' bridge is great but things tend to slide around down there. I’m looking for ways to maximize the cabin for daily items like sunglasses, charging cables, and maybe a better spot for my phone than just the wireless pad. Has anyone found a specific tray insert that fits well, or perhaps some clever door pocket organizers? I'm curious if there are any 3D-printed mods or aftermarket accessories you guys swear by to keep the clutter down. What are you using to stay organized?

Hey! I’ve been driving my Bolt for years and totally get it—that console is basically a black hole!! Honestly, adding a divider was a total game-changer for my sanity. Before I share my specific setup, I gotta ask:

* Are you looking for custom 3D-printed mods or just easy-to-find Amazon trays?
* Do you need your phone visible for nav, or just a tidy spot to charge?

Let me know and I'll hook you up! 👍

Seconding the recommendation above! Adding a divider to that center console is basically mandatory because the stock setup is literally just an empty bucket. I honestly found that the Vesul Center Console Organizer Tray for 2022 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV works well for my daily carry stuff. It creates a top layer for your sunglasses and coins while keeping the "black hole" underneath for things you dont need as often.

For that floating bridge area, I had the same issue with things sliding around and it was driving me crazy!! I ended up getting some Shaohua Non-Slip Anti-Dust Rubber Mats for Chevy Bolt EUV and it's a game changer. The rubber grip actually keeps my phone and charging cables from flying into the footwell when I take a turn too fast lol. If you want a better phone spot, I've seen guys 3D print a custom mount that clips onto the dash, but honestly, a high-quality Spigen OneTap Magnetic MagSafe Car Mount works great if you stick it to the left of the screen. Hope this helps keep ur cabin clean!!

Ok so, before I give advice, quick question—are you mostly worried about stuff sliding for safety reasons or just the noise? I've seen things fly under the pedals from that bridge area, which is SCARY. Since you're on a budget, have you looked at a Topfit for Chevy Bolt EUV Center Console Hidden Storage Box? It's usually under $15 and keeps valuables out of sight, but I wanna make sure we're focusing on the right fix! 👍

TL;DR: I used cheap felt sheets and generic bins to stop the sliding under the bridge for under $10!

Similar situation here - I was getting sooo annoyed with my sunglasses and keys sliding around every time I took a turn in my EUV!! Honestly, I didnt wanna spend a ton of money on custom stuff, so I went through this phase of DIYing it. I actually just grabbed some generic adhesive felt and generic rubberized mesh from the dollar store to line that lower bridge area... it literally changed everything and cost like 5 bucks. For the console black hole, I skipped the pricey brands and just found a basic generic organizer from a brand like Topfit or Musology on sale. I mean, it basically does the same thing as the one mentioned above but was way cheaper. Plus, I used some velcro cable ties for my charging cords to keep 'em from tangling. It’s not the fanciest tech setup, but it’s super practical if ur on a budget!! gl!

So, since you mentioned 3D printing, that's definitely the way to go if you want a truly custom setup. Tbh, the biggest missed opportunity in the EUV cabin is that dead space behind the infotainment screen. I personally use the [[BestEvMod Behind Screen Storage Tray]]—it’s a solid way to store sunglasses or a garage door opener without cluttering the dash or using that 'black hole' console. If you're going the DIY 3D printing route, just a technical heads-up: make sure you use PETG or ASA filament. PLA will straight-up warp the first time your Bolt sits in the sun—I've seen it happen way too often lol. I actually designed a custom mount for a [[Spigen MagFit Magnetic Car Mount]] that clips to the trim piece near the bridge. It keeps the phone visible for nav but off the wireless pad, which tends to overheat my iPhone anyway. For the sliding under the bridge, I skipped the cheap mesh and went with 1/8 inch neoprene foam sheets. You can precision-cut them to the floor's footprint and it looks way more OEM than generic liners, plus it kills the vibration noise from keys and coins instantly.

Building on the earlier suggestion, I actually have to disagree with going for just any hard plastic tray! In my experience, those cheap ABS inserts end up rattling like crazy on bumpy roads and it drives me nuts lol. If you want a real technical fix, you gotta look at material density and shore hardness. I've compared a few setups and honestly, the DIY route with 3D printed TPU (95A shore hardness) is amazing because it acts as its own vibration dampener. If you aren't into printing your own stuff, check out the Muslogy Center Console Side Storage Box for Bolt EUV. The pro is that it uses the vertical space next to the bridge which is usually wasted, but the con is it might bump your leg if you're tall. Another fantastic option is the KMMOTORS Coin Side Pocket Black. It is way better than those bridge trays because it keeps your phone at arm's reach without it sliding around that wireless pad area. I love how much cleaner the cabin feels when you actually use the side zones instead of just stacking stuff in the black hole!!
