Just picked up a 2024 Equinox and need to protect the interior before winter hits! I’m looking for something with a perfect edge-to-edge fit that won't slide around. Has anyone tried WeatherTech or TuxMat in this specific model? I'm curious if they interfere with the seat tracks. What are you all using for the best coverage?

Seconding the recommendation above! Honestly, ur right to be careful about the fit. In my experience with Chevys, WeatherTech FloorLiner HP is a solid bet because it uses a softer rubber than their classic series, so it wont slide or mess with the seat tracks. But if u want crazy coverage, TuxMat Custom Car Mats for 2024 Equinox literally covers every inch of carpet. Basically, if ur dealing with heavy salt, go TuxMat; if u want easy cleaning, go WeatherTech. good luck!!

In my experience, picking the right mats for a new ride is seriously stressfull cuz you dont wanna ruin that fresh carpet. Honestly, I've tried a few brands in my Chevys over the years and had some mixed results. For your 2024 Equinox, I'd suggest being a bit cautious with the super rigid options.

Sooo, here's my breakdown based on what I've actually used:

- WeatherTech FloorLiner Floor Mats for 2024 Chevrolet Equinox: I've used these for years, but honestly, I've been kinda disappointed lately. They offer great protection, but the edges tend to curl away from the door sill after a summer or two. It looks messy and can actually be a tripping hazard. Plus, they feel a bit like hard plastic under your feet.
- TuxMat Custom Car Mats for 2024 Chevrolet Equinox: These are the ones I'm currently running. The coverage is literally insane—it goes all the way up the sides. My only concern is they use clips to stay in place, and if you don't install them perfectly, they might feel a bit bulky near the gas pedal. They haven't messed with my seat tracks tho, which is a huge plus.
- Husky Liners WeatherBeater Floor Mats for 2024 Chevrolet Equinox: If you want something more flexible than WeatherTech but still super tough, these are it. They have these little "nibs" on the bottom that keep them from sliding at all.

Basically, if you want that "couch in a car" feel, go TuxMat. If you want pure utility, go Husky. Just be careful when installing and make sure they don't catch on the seat rails! gl!

Sooo I actually just spent a ton of time researching this for my own 2024 Equinox cuz I'm pretty obsessive about specs and making sure every dollar spent is worth it lol. If you want that perfect edge-to-edge fit without spending a fortune, I would suggest looking at some of the laser-measured options that focus on value.

I mean, WeatherTech is cool and all, but if you want to save some cash and still get great protection, here is what I recommend based on the technical specs I've seen:

* 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Floor Mat for 2024 Chevrolet Equinox - These are lowkey the best looking. They have a patented bottom layer that grips the carpet like crazy, so they literally wont slide an inch. Plus, they're thinner, so they definitely wont mess with the seat tracks.
* SMARTLINER Custom Fit Floor Mats for 2024 Chevrolet Equinox - Basically the budget king. They use a high-density polyethylene that is super rigid. The technical fit is almost identical to the big brands but usually costs way less.
* VIERIRS All Weather Floor Mats for 2024 Equinox - These are a solid alternative if you find them on sale. They have deep grooves which are great for catching melted snow.

Personally, I went with the 3D MAXpiders because they feel more "premium" and less like a plastic utility bucket, you know? They're super easy to clean too. Honestly, as long as you get a laser-measured kit specifically for the 2024 model year, you're gonna be satisfied. Hope that helps you save a few bucks!! peace

Just catching up on this thread... honestly, as someone who's spent years doing my own vehicle prep and maintenance, I tend to look at the technical side of the materials used rather than just the brand name. > What are you all using for the best coverage? I've found that for a real DIY "pro" result, you really want to look for TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) materials because they hold their shape way better than the cheaper PVC stuff. I recently helped a buddy install Lasfit All-Weather Floor Liners in his 2024 and I was pretty impressed with the precision of the injection molding. Unlike some of the super rigid options that tend to curl at the edges over time, these have a bit more flex while still locking into the factory floor anchors perfectly. Basically, the trick to a professional-grade install is making sure you clean the floor pans thoroughly with a shop vac before you drop them in—any grit left underneath will cause them to shift or vibrate over time. Tbh, you definitely don't need a professional service for this, just a bit of patience to line up the clips so they snap in correctly!!! It's a solid 10-minute DIY project that saves the carpet for years...
