Hey everyone! I just picked up a 2024 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab and I’m absolutely loving the truck so far. However, the factory carpet mats are already starting to look pretty rough after just a few trips to the job site. With winter fast approaching and plenty of mud and snow in the forecast, I really need to upgrade to some solid all-weather floor mats before the interior gets ruined.

I’ve been doing some research, but I’m torn between a few big names like WeatherTech, Husky Liners, and even the official Chevy OEM mats. I’m specifically looking for something that offers high-wall protection to catch spills and melting snow, but I also want to make sure they don’t feel too slippery under my boots when they get wet. Another thing I’m worried about is the fitment around the rear under-seat storage; I want a liner that covers the entire back floor without having to trim it myself.

Does anyone have long-term experience with these brands in their Silverado? I’m curious if the plastic on the laser-measured liners tends to curl at the edges over time, or if the rubberized versions stay flush. For those of you who put your trucks through the wringer, which brand provides the best coverage and stays in place the best?

yo, similar situation here - i went through this last year. honestly, didn't wanna drop $250+ so i ended up with the Rough Country Floor Mats for 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 for about $160. * TPE material (stayed flexible)
* No trimming for the rear under-seat storage
* High-wall edges stayed flush tbh they've been way less slippery than the rigid plastic sets i've tried before... gl!

> I’m specifically looking for something that offers high-wall protection... but I also want to make sure they don’t feel too slippery. In my experience, I've unfortunately found that WeatherTech FloorLiner for 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 edges tend to curl over time; theyre basically not as good as expected for heavy use. I'd suggest the Husky Liners X-act Contour Floor Mats for Silverado 1500 Crew Cab because the rubberized thermoplastic stays flush and provides way better grip than the slippery OEM plastic.

I actually had a close call with a cheap mat bunching up under my brake pedal last winter... scary stuff! So yeah, seconding the recommendation above about staying flush. I'm literally obsessed with 3D MAXpider Kagu Series Floor Mats for 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab because: 1. The *MAXpider* backing grips the carpet so they NEVER shift.
2. Textured surface isn't slippery when wet.
3. Precise fit for storage. Safety first, honestly!! Peace.

Honestly, I know everyone is pushing for those $200+ laser-cut liners, but I’m gonna disagree a bit. I’ve found that even the "perfect" fits can be a real pain if you have specific gear under the seats. I’m a big fan of the DIY approach because you can get a way more custom fit for half the price if you're willing to put in a little work. Not 100% sure if you've got the time for it, but here is why I usually go self-service with universal heavy-duty rubber instead of the big brands:
* You can trim them to fit perfectly around *your* specific storage bins, unlike the pre-molded ones that sometimes leave weird gaps.
* IIRC, some of those high-end plastic liners realy don't handle oily mud from job sites well—they get stained and slippery fast.
* If you mess one up at the site, you're only out forty bucks instead of two hundred. I think I heard someone talking about using industrial-grade rubber sheeting too. Basically, it’s way more durable than the "luxury" mats. Just something to think about before dropping a ton of cash on a brand name that might still curl anyway!

Respectfully, I'd consider another option. Honestly, go with Smartliner. In my experience, they’re way cheaper than big names but stay flush and dont curl, you know?
