I recently picked up a Chrysler Sebring convertible, and while I love the open-air feel, the wind buffeting at highway speeds is getting a bit intense, especially for my passengers in the back. I’m looking for a high-quality wind deflector that actually stays secure without rattling around. Does anyone have experience with the mesh style versus the solid plexiglass ones? I’m specifically wondering if there are brands that allow the top to close without having to remove the screen every time. My budget is around $200-$300, but I'm willing to pay more for something durable that fits the interior well. What specific brands or models have you found work best for reducing noise and turbulence in a Sebring?

In my experience, you really gotta be careful with the cheap universal ones because they rattle like crazy. I've had a few Sebrings over the years and honestly, the mesh style is the way to go because it doesn't glare like plexiglass. I've been using the WindRestrictor Chrysler Sebring Convertible Wind Deflector and it’s been a total game changer for my passengers. It fits the interior lines perfectly and you can actually leave it in place when you close the top, which is a HUGE plus. Another solid option if you want that classic mesh look is the Love the Drive Chrysler Sebring Wind Deflector. It's a bit of an investment around $300, but it literally cuts the noise by like 70%. Just make sure to check your model year since the mounts changed slightly between generations. gl!

In my experience, you definitely dont need to blow a ton of cash to get a decent ride. Basically, the whole point of a deflector is to break up that big air bubble that swirls into the cabin, and honestly, the mesh style is way better for visibility. I remember when I first started out with my Sebring, I thought the solid ones looked cooler, but the glare at night is actually super annoying!

If you're looking to stay around that $200 mark, I'd check out the Love The Drive Chrysler Sebring Wind Deflector 2008-2010. It's pretty much the gold standard for budget-conscious owners. It fits perfectly into the existing holes, and the best part is you can literally leave it in place when you put the top up! It folds down flat, so you aren't constantly wrestling with it in the backseat. Just make sure the clips are tight so it doesn't rattle at 70mph, but yeah, it makes a HUGE difference for those back seat passengers. gl! 👍

Sooo, definitely avoid the cheap universal plastic clips! They’ll literally scratch your interior and rattle like crazy at 60mph. Honestly, mesh is way better than solid plexiglass cuz it doesn't catch the glare or turn into a giant sail. If you want something that stays on with the top up, look for the custom-fit mesh screens that bolt into the existing points. They're basically silent and way more durable than the flimsy stuff. GL!
