Best wiper blades for a Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Hey everyone! I’m looking to replace the wiper blades on my PT Cruiser before the rainy season really kicks in. My current ones are streaking like crazy and making it hard to see at night. I know the front usually takes 20 or 21-inch blades, but I’m also struggling to find a high-quality replacement for that specific small rear wiper. Does anyone have a preference between the newer beam-style blades, like Bosch Icons, or just sticking with traditional frames? I’m looking for something that stays quiet and doesn't lift at highway speeds. What brands have you guys found that provide the cleanest wipe without any chattering?

Just sharing my experience: I went through this last year and honestly, I was torn between saving cash and getting better visibility. I tried the Rain-X Latitude Water Repellency Wiper Blades and they're amazing! The coating actually helps water bead off.

* Beam style: Way quieter than my old frames.
* Traditional: Cheaper, but they chatter like crazy for me.

Well, actually, I think the Michelin Guardian Hybrid Wiper Blades are a fantastic middle ground value-wise!

Hey! I've been there with the streaking—it's honestly the worst at night. For my PT Cruiser, I definitely prefer beam blades because they don't lift on the highway like old frames do.

Here’s what I recommend:
* Front: Bosch Icon 21A Wiper Blade (super quiet!)
* Rear: Trico Exact Fit 11-G Rear Wiper Blade

I’ve been really satisfied with this setup; it provides a clean wipe without any chatter. Good luck!

Ok so, looking at this from a durability and safety standpoint, you really have to consider the material composition of the blade. Most of what you find at big box stores is EPDM rubber, which honestly breaks down way too fast from UV and ozone exposure. If your looking for something that wont chatter and provides a consistent wipe over a long period, I'd suggest going with silicone. I’ve done quite a bit of research on different setups, and for the PT Cruiser's specific windshield contour, the PIAA Si-Tech Silicone Wiper Blades are top-tier. They’re a frameless design, which helps with the wind lift issues at highway speeds, but the real benefit is the silicone infusion. It basically applies a microscopic water-repellent barrier every time you use them. For the back, I usually recommend sticking with a high-quality OE-spec like the Valeo Rear Performance Wiper Blade. Valeo is an industry leader in wiper systems, and their tension springs are calibrated much better than generic brands. Its a bit more of an investment up front, but for night visibility and reliability in a storm, you cant beat the performance of silicone over traditional rubber!!!
