We just got a Chrysler Pacifica for the family, and with kids and pets, the carpet is already a mess! I’m looking for durable mats that handle mud and spills but still fit perfectly around the Stow 'n Go seating. Does anyone have experience with WeatherTech versus Husky Liners for this specific van? Which brand offers the best coverage for the third row?

Sooo I just found this thread and honestly, I gotta jump in because I was literally obsessing over this for my Pacifica last year. Safety was my #1 priority—I didn't want my kids slipping on a wet mat or, even worse, having a mat slide around near the pedals while I'm driving!

I ended up going with the 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Floor Mats for Chrysler Pacifica with Stow 'n Go and they're seriously amazing!! Unlike those hard plastic ones that get super slippery when wet, these have a textured surface that keeps your feet planted. For your situation with kids and pets, they're fantastic because they have this crazy MAXpider fiber backing that LITERALLY grips the carpet and wont budge.

I paid around $250 for the full set, and while its a bit of an investment, the coverage for the third row is way better than the generic stuff you find at big box stores. Plus, they're light enough that you can still manage the Stow 'n Go seats without breaking a sweat. Safety-wise, it gives me such peace of mind knowing they're custom-molded to the floor. gl with the van life! 👍

Ok so before I dive into the technical specs, I gotta ask—do you actually use the Stow 'n Go feature like, every single day??

I'm asking cuz most floor mats are designed to stay flat, and if you're constantly flipping seats into the floor, some "custom fit" liners can actually be a huge pain to deal with. Also, are you looking to cover the entire floor as one piece, or do you prefer individual mats that are easier to pull out and spray down?

If you're on a budget, you might want to consider some solid alternatives that are way cheaper than the big brands mentioned:

1. Smartliner Custom Fit Floor Mats for Chrysler Pacifica - These usually run about $160 for a full set and they're seriously impressive for the price.
2. VIERIRS All Weather Floor Mats for Chrysler Pacifica 2017-2024 - I've seen these go for under $130 on sale, and they offer decent coverage for the third row without the "hard plastic" feel.

Let me know about the seating situation and I can give you a better technical breakdown on the material density and lip heights! 👍

In my experience, if you're dealing with the Stow 'n Go seating in a Pacifica, you definitely gotta go with Husky Liners over WeatherTech. I've tried both brands over the years in different vans, and while WeatherTech is super durable, their material is basically like hard plastic. It's a total pain when you're trying to flip the seats down cuz it just doesn't want to bend!!

Here's why I prefer Husky for the van:

* The material is way more flexible, so it handles the seat folding transitions much better.
* Their third-row coverage is actually superior imo, especially in the middle aisle where kids track the most mud.
* The "cleats" on the bottom are seriously better at keeping the mats from sliding around when the dogs are jumping in the back.

Honestly, both are quality, but for the specific layout of the Pacifica, Husky is the way to go. Good luck!
