Essential storage and organization accessories for a Dodge Grand Caravan?

We love our Grand Caravan’s Stow 'n Go seating, but that deep rear cargo well is a total mess! I’m looking for specific bins or dividers that fit that space, plus maybe something for the gap between the middle seats. What storage accessories are actually worth the money for keeping this van organized?

ok so i totally feel u on that rear well mess... it literally becomes a black hole for groceries and gear if ur not careful. honestly, i had high hopes for some of the fancy bespoke stuff, but unfortunately, i was pretty disappointed with the flimsy generic dividers i first bought cuz they just slid around and couldnt handle the weight of real cargo. i actually do this professionally (fleet management) so i tend to be a bit more cautious about safety and load shifting than most.

For that deep trunk area, I eventually settled on the WeatherTech CargoLiners Custom Fit Cargo Mat for the base protection, and then I dropped in two of the Rubbermaid Roughneck 18 Gallon Storage Totes. Seriously, they fit like they were made for that well, and they dont crack when it gets cold like the cheap clear bins do.

For the gap between the middle seats, i tried some cheap nets but they were trash tbh. i finally went with the Dodge Grand Caravan Center Console - Mopar 1BE931X9AC which is the factory-style slim console. It is SO much better for actually holding drinks without them flying everywhere.

My advice? Just be careful with stacking things too high in that rear well cuz if u hit the brakes hard, loose items become projectiles. Id also suggest checking the load rating on anything u bolt down. anyway, thats what worked for me after failing with the cheap stuff lol. gl!

For your situation, I recommend looking at the Rola 59100 M.O.V.E. Rigid Base Organizer vs the StarTech.com 2U Universal Vented Rack Mount Shelf hack for the rear well.

I've been a Caravan owner for years and honestly, those deep wells are the worst for technical gear management! If you want a modular approach, the Rola organizer is awesome cuz it has moveable dividers and a non-slip bottom that actually stays put when you're taking corners. The rigid base is way better than those cheap mesh ones that just sag.

Another pro tip for that middle gap? I skipped the overpriced OEM consoles and went with the Wolf Manufacturing 33010 Console—it fits perfectly between the Stow 'n Go seats and gives you extra cupholders and a deep storage bin for like half the price of the Mopar ones. If you're really techy, I actually mounted a Anker 521 Power Bank inside mine so the kids can charge their tablets without wires running everywhere lol.

Seriously tho, avoid the generic "trunk organizers" from big box stores; they aren't deep enough for the Grand Caravan's specific dimensions. The Rola is basically the industry standard for these vans cuz it fills the width perfectly without leaving weird gaps. Good luck with the build!!

Similar situation here - I was sooo worried about loose gear flying forward, so I grabbed the Heininger 5045 Hitchmate Cargo Stabilizer Bar... basically keeps heavy stuff locked down for safety.

Just sharing my experience: I went through this last year and honestly, after wasting money on cheap bins that cracked, I learned to be way more cautious. In my experience, the 'universal' stuff usually fails under the weight of real cargo. I ended up sticking with generic heavy-duty totes from Home Depot or Costco because they're basically indestructible and cheap...

* Look for the ones with reinforced lids
* Soft-sided collapsible crates for the middle gap

It's lowkey better than the expensive 'van-specific' gear, right?

My buddy told me the exact same thing last week. Guess he was right lol.
