Dude, congrats on the Laramie! Stoked for you! I was super worried about my bed getting thrashed or leaking, so I went with a setup that felt safe but didnt break the bank. Like someone mentioned, you really need that water seal for the coast. I grabbed the Tyger Auto T5 Hard Three-Fold Tonneau Cover for Ram 1500 5.7ft Bed and it's been amazing! I was nervous about the install but it just clamps on. It feels so secure and definitely keeps the rain out during our wild storms. For the floor, honestly just get the Rough Country RCM644 Heavy Duty Bed Mat for 2024 Ram 1500. It's thick rubber and stuff literally wont budge back there which makes me feel way safer driving. You can get both for way under your budget! It's such a fantastic combo for the price... seriously love it.
