Hey everyone, I recently picked up a 2022 Dodge Charger Scat Pack, and I’m absolutely loving the car so far. However, with the rainy season fast approaching and winter not too far behind, I’m starting to get really nervous about the interior. The factory carpet mats look great, but they offer zero protection against mud, spilled coffee, or the salt and slush that inevitably gets tracked in. I really want to keep the floorboards looking brand new, especially since I plan on keeping this car for a long time.
I’ve been doing some research, but I’m torn between a few different options. I’ve seen a lot of people swear by WeatherTech because of the high walls and custom fit, but I’ve also heard that Husky Liners might have a slightly softer, less 'plastic' feel to them. Then there are the Mopar all-weather mats which have that cool 'Dodge' branding, but I’m not sure if they actually provide enough coverage on the sides to prevent gunk from seeping into the carpet edges.
My main priorities are a perfect fit (no sliding around under the pedals) and something that is easy to spray down at the car wash. I’m also a bit concerned about the rear mats; I occasionally have passengers, so I need something that covers the middle hump effectively. I’m willing to spend a bit more—maybe up to $200—if it means getting the absolute best protection available.
For those of you who have had your Chargers through a few seasons, which brand has actually held up the best? Do you find that the laser-measured liners are worth the extra cost over the standard heavy-duty rubber mats, or is there a specific brand I’m overlooking that fits the Charger floor pan perfectly?

Yo, congrats on the Scat Pack! Honestly, I feel u on wanting to keep those floors mint, but I gotta be real about my experience. I spent the cash on WeatherTech FloorLiner DigitalFit for my Charger a couple years back cuz everyone hyped them up, but I was actually kinda disappointed... Like, they protect the carpet from salt okay, but the material is so stiff and plasticky that the edges started curling away from the trim after one summer. It looked super messy and honestly drove me crazy for the price I paid.
Sooo, I ended up switching to Husky Liners WeatherBeater Floor Mats and they're way better imo. They have these little "Stay-Put Cleats" on the bottom so they literally do not budge at all, which is huge for safety near the pedals. Plus, the rubber is softer and feels more premium under your feet compared to the hard WeatherTech stuff.
I also checked out the Mopar All-Weather Floor Mats at the dealership cuz I loved the logo, but the coverage is highkey mid. They don't have the high sidewalls you need for real slush and mud, so stuff just leaks over the side anyway. If you're worried about the rear passengers, the Husky ones cover the center hump perfectly too. Basically, if you want that "set it and forget it" protection without the curling issues, definitely go with Husky. Are you planning on taking them out every week to wash 'em or just at the end of the season?? gl! 👍

Seconding the recommendation above. I mean, they're right about those stiff liners basically becoming a hazard if they warp and get stuck near the pedals, right? Since you're new to the Scat Pack (congrats btw!), safety is highkey the most important thing. I actually tried a set of cheap universal ones first and almost had a heart attack when the edge curled up under my brake pedal... seriously, dont do that.
Since you're worried about the middle hump and want a softer feel that wont slide, I'd honestly check out the 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Floor Mat for Dodge Charger.
1. They use this weird "MAXpider" fiber backing that literally grips the carpet like velcro so they never move.
2. The material is way more flexible than the big name brands, so they dont warp in the heat.
Basically, they look way more high-end than plastic trays. GL! 👍

Ok so congrats on the Scat Pack thats a killer ride and i totally get wanting to keep it showroom fresh especially since salt is basically the enemy of everything we love. Since youre looking at doing this yourself instead of paying a detailer to scrub your carpets every spring i honestly think you should look at TuxMat Custom Car Mats because they're a total game changer for the DIY crowd. They basically act like a second skin for your floorboards and cover way more than the standard rubber mats do like they go all the way up the sides and even over the back hump which is usually where the mess hides. The cool thing is they have this premium finish that doesnt look like a utility truck but theyre still super easy to hose off in your driveway without needing special chemicals or anything. I was a little nervous about the fitment being too tight around the dead pedal but honestly the clips make it so easy to get a professional look without actually needing to take it to a shop or anything crazy and they stay put way better than the factory ones do tbh.

Seconding the recommendation above. I've spent years dealing with winter slush in my Chargers and honestly, the big name brand stuff is often way too stiff. After 3 seasons, they literally warp and leave huge gaps where salt just eats your carpet. Unfortunately, those 'laser-measured' liners are mostly marketing hype imo. Just go with some 3D molded mats from a reputable brand like 3D MAXpider or similar. They have a grippy backing that actually stays put and they don't feel like hard plastic under your boots. Way better coverage for that middle hump too!

Not to disagree, but I've had a different experience with liners. I'd honestly suggest checking out SMARTLINER Custom Fit Floor Mats for Dodge Charger instead. They're way cheaper than the big names and stay flat.
