I recently took delivery of a new SF90 Spider, and while the car is an absolute masterpiece, the interior layout is quite tight and unique, especially with that curved digital dash and the specific rearview mirror housing. I’m looking for a clean, high-end radar detector mount that doesn’t clutter up the view or interfere with the passenger-side display.
I’ve been looking at some BlendMount options, but I’m worried about the clearance with the mirror stem and whether it will vibrate too much at higher speeds given the SF90's stiff suspension. I really want to avoid using suction cups on the windshield if possible—it just doesn't feel right for a car of this caliber. Ideally, I’m looking for something that allows for a hardwire installation to the mirror power source or the fuse box without being overly invasive. Does anyone have experience with a specific bracket that fits the SF90's mirror assembly perfectly, or perhaps a custom rearview mirror integrated setup? What are you guys using to keep the cockpit looking OEM while staying protected?
Totally agree with the above! I'm really satisfied with the MirrorTap MTX-1015 Power Cord cuz it basically plugs right in. No wire cutting needed and it's pretty cheap for an OEM look lol.
Honestly, I get the struggle with the SF90 interior—it's tight. I've tried many setups and to keep it OEM looking while saving cash, skip the custom mirror builds that cost thousands.
In my experience, you can get a solid setup for under $150:
* BlendMount BNR-2018 Custom Radar Detector Mount - it's rock solid even at high speeds, trust me.
* MirrorTap MTX-1015 Power Cord - basically lets you tap the mirror power for like $30.
It stays out of the way of the passenger screen and doesnt vibrate at all. Plus, no suction cups messing up the glass! gl
Ok so, I went through this last year. My main worry was the SF90's stiff suspension causing vibration that could mess with mirror sensors. I spent weeks testing setups cuz I didn't want anything flying off at high speeds.
- verified voltage draw across the power tap
- checked for interference with ADAS cameras
- used a rigid, fixed metal bracket
Tbh, prioritize ur safety first... making sure the mount is stable at 150mph is key.

In my experience, the SF90 mirror stem is a bit of a nightmare for standard brackets. Honestly, if you're worried about vibration from that stiff suspension, I'd suggest looking into a specialized mirror-tap kit combined with a custom-machined bracket from MirrorTap or similar high-end brands. Basically, make sure you're tapping the 10-pin connector behind the mirror housing for power so it's super clean. It’s a tight fit, but keeping it tucked high and tight is the only way to avoid that passenger screen clutter... good luck!
