Recommended high-quality indoor car covers for the Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider?

I'm beyond excited to be taking delivery of my new 12Cilindri Spider soon, but I’m already getting a bit paranoid about keeping that finish perfect while it's in the garage. Even in a climate-controlled space, dust always seems to find its way onto the paint, and I want to make sure I have a top-tier indoor cover ready to go from day one.

I’ve looked at the standard OEM covers, but in my experience, they can sometimes be a bit thin. I’m looking for something high-quality—ideally with a thick, plush fleece lining that’s ultra-gentle on the clear coat and a breathable outer layer to prevent any moisture buildup. Since the 12Cilindri has such a distinct profile, especially with the Spider’s unique rear decklid and those sharp aero lines, a generic fit just won't cut it. I really want something truly bespoke that hugs the car’s curves perfectly without sagging.

Has anyone here found an aftermarket brand that offers a better fit or superior material than the Ferrari Genuine accessories? I’ve heard good things about companies like Specialized Covers or Carstage, but I’m curious if anyone has already sourced one for this specific model. What are you guys using to keep your V12s pristine?

Oh man, congrats on the 12Cilindri Spider!! That is literally such a fantastic choice, honestly I am so jealous lol. I totally get being paranoid about the finish tho... I'm always super cautious because even a tiny scratch feels like a tragedy, right? Since yours has those sharp aero lines, you definately want something bespoke. Here's what I've looked at: * Specialized Covers Prestige + Indoor Car Cover: This is basically the gold standard for plushness. It has a super thick fleece lining that feels amazing and is really gentle. It is kinda bulky to store tho!
* Carstage Bespoke Indoor Car Cover: These guys are fantastic with the fit. It highkey hugs every curve like a second skin, but I think the material isnt quite as thick as the Specialized one. I mean, I'm still kinda new to the V12 world, but I would honestly ask a pro about the paint curing time before you cover it up just to be safe!! Anyway, hope that helps. peace

Respectfully, I'd consider another option: Goodwool Protective Shell fits better than the Specialized Covers Prestige mentioned, and Confezioni Andrea Classico has thicker fleece. Both are way better for ur V12. GL!

Taking delivery of a 12Cilindri Spider is an absolute dream! That V12 is going to be amazing. To give you a proper brand comparison for your needs, I have a few clarifying questions:

  • Are you looking for a stretch-fit fabric that highlights the cars silhouette, or is a thick, multi-layer padded construction for physical protection your priority?
  • Is the level of breathability for long-term storage a major factor, or is the car driven frequently enough that you dont need to worry about moisture buildup? Knowing these details is huge because the Italian manufacturers often prioritize fit and finish while some of the boutique shops elsewhere focus more on the thickness of that internal fleece lining.

> I really want something truly bespoke that hugs the car’s curves perfectly without sagging. Congrats on the Spider!! Seriously, that V12 is gonna be a masterpiece. Since the others already hit the high-end boutique brands, I’ll offer a more value-oriented but still *pro* perspective. If ur worried about the clear coat, i've always found Covercraft Form-Fit Custom Indoor Car Cover to be the industry gold standard for fit. It’s basically like a heavy sweatshirt for ur car with a super thick fleece lining that wont swirl the paint. Another solid resource is California Car Cover Custom Fit Plushweave Car Cover. It's a bit more old-school but the 100% cotton flannel lining is literally the softest thing you can put on a car. **Comparison:**
* Covercraft Form-Fit Custom Indoor Car Cover: Incredible 'memory' so it wont sag over time, but it's heavy and takes up shelf space. * California Car Cover Custom Fit Plushweave Car Cover: Heavy-duty protection against accidental garage dings, but not quite as 'stretchy' as the satin-style ones. Pro tip: ALWAYS detail the car before covering. Putting a cover on a dusty car is basically sandpaper, no matter how plush it is. GL with the delivery!
