Hey everyone! I recently took delivery of a stunning Roma in Blu Roma with the Nero interior, and I’m absolutely head over heels for the car. However, I’m already starting to worry about keeping the footwells pristine. The factory mats are decent, but they feel a bit thin, and I’ve noticed they tend to shift slightly when I’m getting in and out, which is already driving me a little crazy.
Since the Roma has such a specific, sculpted floor shape, I’m really looking for something that offers a laser-measured, glove-like fit. I’ve looked at the official Ferrari Genuine accessories, but the price is quite steep, and I’m wondering if the quality actually justifies it or if there’s a better aftermarket solution. I’m torn between going for high-end plush carpet or maybe some custom leather mats with diamond stitching to match the seats. My main concern is that some aftermarket brands might bunch up near the pedals or not cover the dead pedal area properly. Does anyone have experience with brands like Lloyd Mats or maybe some of the boutique leather shops? For those of you who have swapped yours out, which floor mats provide the absolute best fit and finish specifically for the Ferrari Roma?
congrats on the Roma! i’m pretty cautious about floor mats cuz you dont want them bunching near the pedals. • Ferrari Genuine Accessories Roma Floor Mats: pricey, but the fit is perfect and they wont shift. it’s the safest route.
• Lloyd Mats Luxe Custom Floor Mats: these are way thicker than factory. it works well if they're anchored properly. skip the leather mats... they look cool but get slippery. stick to carpet for safety! 👍
Seconding the recommendation above! i was worried about bunching too, but TuxMat Custom Car Mats for Ferrari Roma use side-wall clips that keep them perfectly still. Laser-scanning makes them super safe for the pedals! 👍
Fit depends on ur options. Curious about one thing: does ur Roma have the Ferrari Roma Passenger Aluminum Footrest? That contour is tricky for Manicci Custom Diamond Leather Floor Mats.
Seconded!
So basically the consensus is: shell out for OEM or go custom leather, though those contours are tricky. Honestly, I’m always cautious about bunching—had a mat slide under the brake years ago and it’s terrifying!! In my experience, if you want a laser-measured fit for less, just go with 3D MAXpider. They’re way more affordable than boutique brands but still wont budge. Best way to save cash while keeping it safe. gl!! 👍
