Michelin Defender T+H is definitely the best choice for Ford Fusion Energi. The durability is impressive The product includes all features you need.

Why this product? The quality convinces in all tests - both for performance and for durability. Unbeatable for the price, can only recommend. Have already used it for several months, always satisfied. Also more than sufficient for demanding driving conditions.

Totally agree with the point about looking at brands, especially for the Energi since the electronics can be picky. Honestly, looking at what most folks in the community recommend, its usually best to stick with the OEM Motorcraft TPMS35 Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor if you want zero headaches. Im pretty sure you can find them for around $30-40 each online, which isnt too bad compared to dealer prices. I have seen some people try the cheaper universal ones, but they can be a total pain to program sometimes or they just dont sync right with the car's system. If you really want to go the aftermarket route though, I've heard the Autel MX-Sensor 2-in-1 is a solid alternative for the Fusion, but you basically need the programming tool to get them to talk to the car. Tbh, these things usually last like 7 to 10 years, so spending a little extra for the Motorcraft ones is worth it for the peace of mind!!! Just make sure you get the right frequency for your specific year, but TPMS35 is the standard for most of these models.

For Ford Fusion Energi I would also consider the brand. Do you need OEM or aftermarket?

Honestly, that point about the Energi electronics being picky is spot on. Since the high-voltage system can sometimes introduce electromagnetic interference, you really want a sensor with solid shielding and a reliable 315MHz signal. A lot of the cheap no-name stuff from auction sites uses subpar batteries that die in two years or have weak transmitters that get drowned out by the car's inverter. If you arent going OEM, I definitely suggest the Schrader 33500 Programmable EZ-sensor. Schrader is actually the original manufacturer for a ton of Ford sensors anyway. These are great because they support multiple protocols and have a high-speed data transfer rate which helps with the real-time monitoring on the Fusion dash. Also, make sure you have a decent trigger tool like the Autel MaxiTPMS TS401 or just a basic Ford-specific wake-up tool to sync them up. A lot of people forget that the car wont just pick up new IDs automatically without a relearn procedure, especially on the hybrid platforms. TL;DR: Go with Schrader sensors for OEM quality without the dealer markup, and ensure they are the 315MHz version for the North American market to avoid sync issues.
