I finally pulled the trigger on a new 2024 F-150 after wanting a truck for years but man I am totally out of my league here. I live in Seattle and it has been pouring rain all week and I already tracked mud onto the carpet floors because I didnt realize how easily they get dirty. I feel like such an idiot for not getting the rubber ones at the dealer but they wanted like three hundred dollars for them and I thought I could find something cheaper online. But then I look on Amazon and there are like a thousand different brands and I dont know which ones actually fit right or if the cheap ones smell like chemicals.
Then there is the middle storage box thing between the seats. It is basically just a giant empty bucket? I put my sunglasses and my wallet in there and they just vanished into the bottom and I had to literally dig around while driving to find my garage clicker which is super dangerous I know. Is there like a tray or something that goes in there so I dont lose my life looking for a pen? Everything in this truck is so big and I feel like I have no place to put my phone either without it sliding across that little shelf under the screen every time I take a turn. I spent so much money on this truck and it already feels like a mess inside after only four days. I have about $500 left in my truck budget for the month but I dont want to waste it on junk that breaks. I am really sorry if these are super basic things that everyone already knows but I have literally never owned a vehicle this big or this new before and the manual is like five hundred pages long and doesnt help with this stuff.
