Just catching up on the thread and I'd add a bit of caution though. Make sure to watch out for the heat dissipation on these units. I remember I had a cheap one in my last SUV and the sun literally melted the adhesive and warped the casing because it didnt have a proper capacitor. It was a total mess to clean off the windshield... I would suggest just going with Thinkware Dash Cams. Honestly, you cant go wrong with anything from Thinkware. Their hardware is super robust and they handle the power management better than most, which is important so you dont wake up to a dead battery in your Expedition. Just be careful with the installation and maybe look for a kit with a high-temperature rating... you really dont want a lithium battery sitting behind that massive windshield in the summer heat. These big trucks have a lot of glass and they get hot fast.
