Hey everyone! I recently picked up a Genesis G70 3.3T Sport and I’m absolutely head over heels for the twin-turbo power. However, I’m already looking to see how I can push it a bit further. I’ve been researching the JB4 tuner for a boost increase and some high-flow intakes, but I’m also curious if upgrading the sway bars would help with the body roll in the corners. I want to keep it daily-driver friendly but definitely want more 'oomph' and sharper handling. Since this is my first Genesis, I’m a bit overwhelmed by the options. What are the best first performance mods you’d recommend for the best bang-for-your-buck improvement?

Yo, congrats on the pickup! Stumbled upon this discussion today and I totally get that "more oomph" craving. > I want to keep it daily-driver friendly but definitely want more 'oomph' and sharper handling. Just sharing my experience: I went through this last year and tbh, my "safety-first" brain wouldn't let me touch the boost until I sorted the cooling. I've seen way too many 3.3Ts pull timing because they get heat soaked on a simple commute. Basically, I compared two big options for keeping things reliable: 1. Mishimoto Performance Intercooler for Genesis G70 3.3T vs. 2. BMS Intercooler for Kia Stinger and Genesis G70 3.3T The Mishimoto is a beast—literally rock-solid temps but it's a bit of a pain to install. The BMS one is a reallyyy solid bang-for-buck choice if ur keeping it a daily. I ended up with the Mishimoto and honestly, I'm so satisfied knowing the engine is safe even when I'm pushing it. Peace of mind is huge for me!! Are you planning on doing the installs yourself or heading to a shop??

Sooo, I totally feel you on wanting more power. When I first got my 3.3T, I was literally obsessed with just hitting higher boost numbers, right? But I learned the hard way that these engines run hottt when you start pushing 'em. Before you go crazy with the 'oomph', you really gotta think about heat soak. Honestly, I would suggest looking into the Mishimoto Performance Intercooler MMINT-G70-19. It basically keeps those intake temps down so you dont lose power after just two pulls... highkey essential for reliability. For handling, if ur worried about body roll but want to keep it commute-friendly, maybe consider the Ark Performance Front Strut Tower Bar. It stiffens the front without making the ride harsh. Just make sure to be careful and maybe consult a pro before installing anything that might void ur warranty... things get expensive fast lol. Better to be safe and build a solid foundation first, you know?

Before I give advice, can you clarify if you’re planning on taking this to the track occasionally or if it’s strictly for a fun commute? It lowkey changes what I'd prioritize for ur suspension setup. Honestly, that 3.3T is a beast!! Since the previous post mentioned the JB4, I’d suggest looking at the Whiteline 24mm Adjustable Rear Sway Bar for Genesis G70. It’s fantastic because you can actually dial in the stiffness, which is great for keeping it daily-driver friendly without the ride being too harsh. For more 'oomph' and better airflow, definitely consider: * Velossa Tech BIG MOUTH Dual Ram Air Intake Snorkel – forces cold air directly into the filters for better cooling.
* AEM Cold Air Intake System for 2018-2023 Genesis G70 3.3T – the induction noise is literally addicted, you'll love it!
* ARK Performance Secondary Downpipes for Genesis G70 3.3T – great for throttle response and it adds a nice growl. Handling is sooo much better with a thicker rear bar, keeps it flat in corners. Anyway, lmk your goals and I can go more in-depth on the technical side lol.

Yo, congrats on the G70! Before upping the boost, you gotta prep the engine or it'll literally stutter. * Burger Motorsports JB4 Tuner for Genesis G70 3.3T
* HKS M45iL Super Fire Racing Spark Plugs Honestly, I had issues with misfires cuz I didnt gap my plugs right... total rookie move. But once thats sorted, it's a beast. Plus Eibach Anti-Roll Kit Sway Bars are basically mandatory for those corners, you know?
