Hey everyone, I just picked up a G70 3.3T Sport and I’m absolutely loving the power so far, but I’m already itching to see what this platform can really do. I’ve been looking into some initial upgrades like a JB4 tuner or maybe a cold air intake, but I’m a bit overwhelmed by the options for the 3.3 twin-turbo. I'm mainly looking for a noticeable boost in throttle response and mid-range torque without sacrificing too much daily drivability. Does anyone have experience with specific spark plug gaps or intercooler upgrades that made a big difference? Also, any advice on which mods might play nice with the factory warranty would be huge. What would you guys say are the first three performance mods I should prioritize?

In my experience, you definitely gotta start with the spark plugs before even touching the tuner. The stock gap is way too wide for higher boost and you'll get nasty spark blowout. I've tried many over the years and the HKS Super Fire Racing Spark Plugs M45iL gapped to 0.022 are basically the gold standard for the 3.3T platform. After that, grab the JB4 Tuner for Kia Stinger / Genesis G70 because it's super easy to remove if you're worried about the factory warranty. Honestly, those two plus a set of BMS Elite Dual Performance Intakes will give you that mid-range torque you're after without ruining the daily drive lol. Good luck!!

Hmm, I've had a different experience... honestly, skip the intakes. They're pricey and basically just for sound. Just get the Burger Motorsports JB4 Tuner and cheaper NGK 97506 Spark Plugs gapped to 0.022 instead.

Honestly, my current setup with the tuner and better plugs was AMAZING!! The power is literally insane now lol. I totally suggest doing those first plus the intakes, sooo worth it!
