What are the best cargo organizers for GMC Terrain?

I’ve been driving my GMC Terrain for a few months now, and while I absolutely love the cargo space, I’m struggling to keep everything from sliding around back there. Every time I take a turn, I hear my groceries, gym bag, and emergency kit shifting from side to side, which is getting pretty annoying!

I’m looking for something that fits the dimensions of the Terrain specifically, rather than a generic one-size-fits-all bin that leaves weird gaps. I’ve looked at the official GMC accessories, like the collapsible cargo organizer, but they are a bit pricey. I ended up going the budget route and experimented with a few cheaper setups. First, I tried a basic trunk net I found on clearance, but it was kinda flimsy. Eventually, I landed on a combo that actually works for way less cash:

* I grabbed the Fortem Car Trunk Organizer for about $30. It's got those non-slip pads on the bottom that actually stick to the Terrain's carpet.
* Added a generic Envelope Style Trunk Cargo Net for GMC Terrain off eBay for like $15 to catch the smaller grocery bags.

Seconding the recommendation above! Honestly, safety is the biggest reason I finally got my trunk sorted. I've been driving SUVs for over a decade and once had a heavy tool kit fly forward during a sudden stop—actually terrified me. So yeah, my current setup uses a heavy-duty bin with built-in tie-down straps because I wont trust just velcro anymore. It's sooo much better knowing stuff wont become a projectile if I gotta hit the brakes hard! gl!
