Just picked up a 2025 Accord and I’m trying to find a windshield sunshade that actually fits right (no gaps around the rearview mirror) and stays in place. I’m parked outside a lot and want something that blocks heat well but folds up small for the door pocket. Any specific sunshade brands/models that fit the 2025 Accord windshield best?

In my experience, go with a foldable “wire frame” style if you want door-pocket small *and* less mirror-gap drama.

- EcoNour Windshield Sun Shade with Wire Frame (Large 64 x 32 in) — usually like $15-25, pops open fast, the frame helps it stay put. I’ve had decent luck getting it tight around the mirror if you flip the visors down.
- Enovoe Car Windshield Sunshade Umbrella (Large 57 x 32 in) — more $25-45, but honestly seals better than floppy ones and stores super compact. You do have to measure your windshield first tho.
- Tip: crack windows 1/2" + use visor clamps = WAY less slipping, right?

Good luck!

Yep, 100% agree w/ going vehicle-specific. Quick q tho: do you have the big sensor/camera box behind the mirror (Honda Sensing)? That changes the cutout a lot, and whether a rigid vs foldable shade will actually seal.

Seconding the wire-frame idea — it actually stays put, which is kinda a safety thing (no shade sliding into your pedals/feet when you drive off… been there). Quick tips:
- Try HeatShield Custom Fit Windshield Sunshade for 2023-2025 Honda Accord (vehicle-specific = fewer mirror gaps, no complaints so far)
- If you go universal, pick one with firm edges and ALWAYS fold/store it before moving (idk why people dont)
Hope that helps, gl!

For your situation, I’d do Option A vs B vs C:
- Covercraft UVS100 Custom Sunscreen for 2025 Honda Accord: best fit IMO (mirror area seals nice), crazy heat block… but it’s bulky to stash.
- WeatherTech SunShade for 2025 Honda Accord: also tight fit + durable, folds ok, not as tiny tho.
- KUST Windshield Sun Shade for 2023-2025 Honda Accord: cheaper, folds smaller, fit is pretty good but sometimes a lil gap. gl!

Ok so… been there. I’ve gone through a stupid number of sunshades over the years (like 10+ cars, lots of outside parking), and the “no gap around the mirror + actually stays put” combo usually comes down to getting a vehicle-specific one, not the universal floppy stuff.

Option A vs B vs C (budget-ish, but still works):
- A) Covercraft UVS100 Custom Sunscreen 2025 Honda Accord: best fit by far imo. The mirror cutout is clean, it wedges into the pillars so it doesn’t sag, and it blocks heat seriously well. Downside: it’s usually like $70–$100 and it folds bulky (more like behind the seat, not door pocket).
- B) HeatShield Custom Fit Windshield Sunshade 2025 Honda Accord: very similar fit/coverage, often a bit cheaper ($50–$80) and a little easier to handle. Still not “tiny” when folded though.
- C) EcoNour Accordion Windshield Sun Shade 64 x 32 (or similar accordion style): cheapest route ($15–$25) and it folds slim enough for a door pocket. Fit won’t be perfect-perfect, but if you get the size right it’s decent and stays in place better than the twisty circles.

If you want the BEST fit: go custom (A or B). If door-pocket compact matters most: accordion style wins. good luck!

> I’m trying to find a windshield sunshade that actually fits right (no gaps around the rearview mirror) Like someone mentioned, the sensor housing on the new Accord makes a perfect fit really tough for most brands. I actually have to disagree with the recommendation to buy a pre-made one if you're truly picky about the gaps. I've been very satisfied with a custom DIY solution using Reflectix BP24010 Series Foil Insulation 24 inch x 10 feet. Most off-the-shelf options leave a bit of space around the mirror to account for different trim levels, but that just lets heat in. My methodical approach usually goes like this:

  • Trace the windshield shape using kraft paper or newspaper from the inside.
  • Cut the Reflectix foil slightly larger than your paper template.
  • Perform a test fit and trim the mirror cutout specifically for your Honda Sensing box.
  • Secure it using the factory sun visors. It wont fold up tiny enough for a door pocket like the wire ones, but the heat rejection is much better than the thin fabric styles. I just roll mine up and it stays out of the way. If you want it to stay in place and block every bit of light, this is the most effective way to go.
